Hello, I just have a question about GTA 3. I've installed everything you have here into the folders for the game and yet somehow I can't manage to play with the frame limiter off without it basically crippling my game. Other's have said that this fixes that issue, what am I doing wrong?

It doesn't fix the framerate issues with limiter off. It only removes some frame delay, so the game will run at 30 fps with frame limiter ON (instead of 24 fps)

Please help me, when I have silent patch removed my game performance is unplayable. However with it enabled on entering Johnson House my game freezes/drops to 0.1 fps.  When loading into the house it loads fine, game runs fine until I move my camera left/right.

I need help urgently.

You are either using an outdated modloader or FLA.

I'm using most recent Silent Patch with most recent ENB, and I don't know what FLA is. In my modloader folder the log file says

========================== Mod Loader 0.3.7 ==========================

Game version: GTA SA 1.0 US

Edit: If you haven't seen my updated posts (they were moved out of help section to coding section which isn't right, they were threads requiring help not recoding or coding advice) I've figured out what exactly the conflict was.

Silent Patch with ENB (Yes, I made sure to use the updated silent patch, I've also tried the outdated silent patch included in the DirectX 2.0 enb download). When i load a save inside the safe house as long as I don't do anything the game runs fine as intended. But as so as I move my camera or walk around it immediately drops to 0.1FPS/freezes, in which case I can manager to pause the game it then runs fine. When I disable the ENB it runs fine, I've also made sure it wasn't any of the shaders as I removed all the shaders and it still happens. There is a conflict for Silent Patch with ENB for me.

Then that looks fine, but there is literally no way for SP to deadlock here as long as your modloader is up to date (you can doublecheck that all modloader plugins you have are fully up to date, though). I don't know if ENB is touching that, it should not.

Whatever other mods you have, try without them first.

I've isolated the problem to Silent Patch and ENB. All other mod active with Silent Patch removed (and enb active) game runs sh*t performance but doesn't freeze. When Silent Patch and ENB are both active at same time this issue occurs.

I have the following

GinputSA

LimitAdjuster

Optimiser(installed after this issue iin hopes it'd fix)

SALodLights

SilentPatchSA

Update: I've just removed all other mods and only had ENB and SilentPatch, issue still occurs.

SP r29 had an update a while ago to fix one issue like this, can you check if you are using the very latest version?

Spent a good part of yesterday chasing after a bug in game which turned out to be a bug related to high uptime, much like dancing minigame being stuttery in San Andreas. Assembled all my discoveries and a tool I created to help detect such issues into a nifty blog post:

I just redownloaded your GTA SA SP from

The issue is still occurring, I'm not sure how you want me to help you debug this. Just let me know exactly what I can do to help solve this problem, just for the record I use ENBs for many games and they all work atm, and my DirectX, Modloader, everything in GTA SA and mod related is up to date, and I've tried all of this with various different combinations of older SPs, different versions of GTA SA, and different ENB versions. I'm basically shooting in the dark here but I believe the problem is related to DirectX. The game runs 100% fine outside of safe house with SP and ENB enabled, however in safe houses the game 0.1fps/freezes. I have absolutely no idea about anything GTA SA related besides it was made in renderware iirc, but it's likely your mod isn't conflicting with the ENB but instead how my game is working. I don't know if it helps at all but originally my GTA_SA.exe had a DirectX9 missing error, which was solved by enabling/applying DirectPlay on Windows10, later I believe a mod I installed fixed this and I disabled DirectPlay (after having the freezing issue trying to solve it).

The lighting on the vehicles are unnaturally dark with this latest update. This maybe because I have a timecyc mod. How can I fix it?

Remove the timecyc mod... or just use  other timecyc mod

Since you're a staff member I'll respond to your statement with detail.

I've played Grand Theft Auto SA many times, I've never played it with graphic modifications though. After getting the game to run properly with great ENB visuals I was prepared to play the entire game this way. However I came into this issue upon attempting to enter a cutscene or load into the safe house, as one can expect I'm unable to play the game this way, as I'd have to disable the ENB each time I want to enter a load zone or when a cutscene that takes place in one of these areas triggers. As a result, I have chosen not to play. So to answer your question directly and simply, No.

Well not to sound negative but it seems like the chosen ENB you have is causing a conflict, so you should ask the maker of that to see what the issue is, SilentPatch does work with graphic mods but if a graphics mod messes up or creates a conflict then it isn't Silent's fault, either play the game with a different ENB config, ask this ENB maker to fix his issue or play without SilentPatch.

Open the timecyc and add 1.0 to the end of every number strand line.

That unfortunately didn't help. I'll show you what I'm talking about. The color of the truck is suppose to be white.

No. I think it only happens with lower end timecyc mods. The one I'm using is "Timecyc as in Vice City."
