The shadow bug is present on Windows 8.1 in laptops that use Enduro technology (Intel+Amd) but was fixed in Windows 10 new drivers.

how can i check if the patch working properly? and btw what's the difference between the original particle.txd and the patched version? cause i'm using another mod already and don't want to replace it.

Hey Silent!
I've been playing with your *NEW* patch and I love the "direction from the sun" setting, but there was one that that's been bugging me. I've found that even after a sunset, the peds and the vehicles are still lit, but the lighting is weird because it shows from under the vehicles. I've found a "fix" of sorts. I turned off the Illumination effect after the sun sets and I think it looks a bit better. If anyone would like to try it here's a link
If someone finds another, better way of making the lighting coming from the sun look better and more natural, it would be awesome!

I Installed the latest Silentpatch.once playing with frame limiter Off. I Can't move while aiming guns like Assault rifles.

and my screen (4:3 monitor) looks squishy. not my taste.

I Didn't read the whole topic,so incease if there is already a solution then sorry.

It's your own fault for playing with Frame Limiter off. You should never disable it.

 

Also 4:3 looks just fine, I don't know what you don't like about it because the game retains proper aspect ratio there - unless you enabled Widescreen option while playing at 4:3.

Probally i used toit for the old bad aspect ratio,the new fixed was new to me.i will buy a new widescreen monitor.and add the widescreenfix on it.

also,i guess staying at 30 fps is still the best option.since playing with 60fps give lot's of problems for these old games.

if you turn of the limiter you should switch on vertical synchronisation. the engine will lock itself to 60fps and that's works well.

Just don't... Never, ever turn off the frame limiter. Things just get messy at about 35+ fps.

Actually no, there are some problems that happen when the game goes to more than 30 FPS, (For example the mission "Amphiboius Assault" play at 60 makes CJ can not swim or dive fast enough or need to double the lung capacity to finish the mission) some missions with time limit, the clock runs faster than it should, the parachute jump is more uncontrollable at 60FPS too

The most noticeable problem is decreasing vehicle inertia. Try to accelerate and then unpress the button. At 30 fps your car will go forward normally, but if you do this at 60 fps, the car will stop much faster, if your fps is near 100+ the car will almost immidiately stop, the same goes for swimming, inability to fly off water in Skimmer and other weird physic issues

don't go crazy guys. it's my overall experience and opinion. it's not the devil's work. nobody force to play in the same way. i understand what all you talking about. i did not mentioned but i'm talking about GTA III. i have no list all of the side effects but for me this combo always worked well since i know. i only experiencing the faster slowdown and that's all. it's not a key problem for me. it's his choice to test this if he's not satisfied with the frame limitation.

Speaking of that issue, which isn't caused by SilentPatch, I have troubles with aiming in the singleplayer game while interestingly I can do it without any problems in SAMP.

 

Will the Roadtrain fix be included in a rereleased version or in the next release?

Probably that your exe isn't v1.0 (although I believe it should still launch, if you could verify @Silent?).

no. All you say (in other words) to us is "I have a clean game and when I put Silentpatch.asi it doesn't launch".

This is impossible. You do something wrong. Read the readme.

At least provide us with the error text you get on game crash.

I remember that GTA 3 has problems to start in Windows 10, it is not the fault of SilentPatch

At first the silent patch worked correctly, but i dont touch nothing in the game files, I will try to reinstall all

After a certain update of Windows 10, the game when trying to launch it said something about "administrator permissions" and does not allow to launch the game, Although in my almost solved installing Silentpatch
