I can not play GTA SA with that enormous big giant moon :lol:

Replace it with "coronamoon" in the particle.txd.

 

I hope those ugly gradient sky can be gone for good one day. It looks like you are playing GTA SA on 15bit colors.

I think, I could post a mod pack with vanilla improvements to vehicles and couple HQ vanilla textures for particles.txd and stuff from various mods, but I don't know if I manage to contact with all of original creators of this fixes :/ At least I can do a list with available small improvements that can be implemented to SA but with keeping its original atmosphere :)


Silent, I don't know how to thank you for your work. I'm just waiting for patch release for SA and patch fix for VC so I can do my long awaited playthrough :)

GTA San Andreas has many blends like Color1 and Color2 in Timecyc, maybe that's the reason why these gradient colors looks ugly?

Have you included color correction 1 and color correction 2 in that gradient? It looks like low quality blending overlay.

Photoshop gradient is not the same as GTA gradient. It has dithering method probably, that's why it is so smooth.

You create a full image for both rgb correction values, then overlay them both 50% on top of the gradient, but really, the game seems to have problems with the colour correction anyway.

Yeah well, it's a dirty work, but someone's gotta do it. If possible, this gradient fix would be very nice.

This may have been mentioned before, and is probably already fixed, but i think its worth pointing out.

 

- Sandking, Super GT, Uranus, Sadler, Dodo, artict1 - All of these have no specular lighting.

- Police Rancher - Right headlight is missing night texture.

- Elegy, Flash, Jester, Uranus, Sandking, Bloodring Banger - Missing some textures.

- Many buildings and objects have no Pre-lighting.

I don't think he intends to fix model bugs (not the kind of stuff that can't be fixed by a plugin alone, at least). Most of those have already been done by other modders anyway.

I've extracted this all fixes from TTDISA, but I don't know if i could post them.

 

I can do a pack as i mentioned and it will contain a number of fixes like you mentioned for example.

 

Edit: When I get back home, I'll do this pack and post the link in this thread. I can't contact all of the original creators but at least I can give them a credit in txt file :)

I just recently have noticed that PS2 version of SA has sooo much more grass around on its places and grass is more visible, it's actually looks like grass and not like fluff. It's not a bug, but I think it's the same thing like broken atmosphere, sun light, car reflections, moon cycles etc.

It contains various bug fixes from various mods and I hope that none of the creators will be mad - I just wanted to combine this stuff and that's all.

I recommend to use Mod Loader, but you can just replace all of them :)

 

With all of this and finally Silent's patch the SA experience will be great :)

Maybe you should start a thread on other fixes for the vanilla game (stuff that is model/texture/mapping related). Everyone can post their fixes, and have them put in the first post.

Hi ric4rd, where do you install the parachute animation fix? It doesn't recognize "parachute.dff" in gta3.img when I use IMG Manager v1.5

Hmm that's strange, I use Mod Loader and it's fine.

When I'll be on my computer I'll look into it couse that's strange ;)

Nevermind, I used Bulk Replace and it managed to find it somehow, and I have the same question as methodunderg, isn't the parachute's filename "gun_para"? Awesome pack btw, I love all the features you've included.

EDIT: I haven't used ModLoader because when I added some stuff with it, some other stuff wouldn't work etc. etc. etc. I use it sometimes if I can't be bothered to rebuild archive when I just add one file, but I'm used to that method anyhow :lol:
