Silent you should include Ped Speech Patch on SilentPatchVC, fits on it. Also, I was playing Vice City on PS2 yesterday and something in the Ped Speech Patch by Sergeanur still missing, the peds and even Tommy (when you hits another car or when you hijacks a car with a passenger, they screams like crazy lol) still more talkative on PS2 than PC even with the patch, I don't know if you can compare it against the PS2 code. Or maybe is something wrong on my side.

Ok, I'm quoting myself to take back my words. I tested again and everything is working fine (and like on PS2) with the Ped Speech Patch, so I hope you will include it into SilentPatchVC, fit totally on it seriously. :D

Can someone give a link to the previous version of the patch? The newest one crashes the game before it could even start.

I'd still appreciate info on what EXE you're using. I tested on 1.0 compact, 1.0EU and 1.0 hoodlum and they all run fine.

I use 1.0. Should I post the error messages?

Okay, so I can't actually post the error message because it doesn't let me copy-paste it. Could someone still upload the previous version?

How am I supposed to fix the issue you're having then?

1. I already posted that I can't copy-paste it, so I can't do anything with Pastebin.

2. It's too long to fit on a PrintScreen.

It's not like errors aren't logged in windows event viewer.

There's no "event viewer" on my computer, so stop being a smartass.

Don't you have Windows XP or superior, smartass ?

Hello! I have a question - can i use Silent Patch with GTA SA v1.01? The problem is that the Russian localization (San Ltd 0.56) automatically install patch 1.01.

Can't you screw their installer, take just the relative files, and make your own translated game with blackjack and hookers, if you know what I mean?

At most you just need this.

Also, (sort of off-topic but it's worth mentioning) you should get off of XP. Support ended for it 2 years ago which means that it's a pretty dangerous operating system to use now. At least use Windows 7 or newer.

Try THIS? Should work with XP fine again.

Windows XP... Seriously, I really had great times with Windows XP, also when I played GTA3, VC and San Andreas.

Despite Vista being hated, I really liked Vista and now 7.

Sounds like an extremely low priority thing, but yeah maybe. I hate how current stats.html looks now, though.

Off. I'm always having it off. It dosen't feels the game runs so smooth with it on.

Even if I'm having a computer who's over the requerments.

The Frame Latency in the in-game frame limiter is completely messed up, that's why it doesn't feel smooth.

It should be at a constant 33.3ms but for some reason it goes all over the place, sometimes going up to 40ms and all the way down to 20ms, this makes the game feel laggy even though the framerate is always at 30fps.

If you have a Nvidia card disable the in-game frame limiter and force "Adaptive Vsync (Half Refresh Rate)" in the Nvdia control panel, this will lock the game at 30fps without any frame latency issues.

Any solutions for AMD? The game on my laptop feels pretty damn smooth at 30FPS, but on my PC (which is much much better) 30 FPS feels laggy in SA.

The same problem I have/had. On my old laptop with nVidia 9600M GT, SA runs well and smooth at 25 or 30FPS.

On the PC with a beefy GPU, SA is like stuttering. However, i use this and game runs really nice:

Is this with both Frame Limiter on and off? I'm on a 750ti right now and I get so many stutters on SA with any texture mods installed like San Andreas Retextured. Yet with my awfully old AMD card I used to have, I got much less stutters and pretty much a perfectly smooth experience.

Seemed to be the same on 30FPS, so I put it on 33 and it was much better.

I just tried running SA frame limiter on and off they ran fine. However, with frame limiter off, it gets smoother but when turning to left and right,

it is possible you get tearing. Here on a 780 I didn't get tearing but it wasn't smooth to look at when driving and turning left/right.

When walking and causing havoc, perfectly smooth. You can set frame limiter on and put 60 in cleo ini, you should have no problems.

Yep, I put it on 40 and indeed much better.

I have discovered more bugs. That's annoying.

Frame limiter soloves them though.

1. Vehicles slows down their selves when releasing W (gas) You hear a skid sound.

2. Cars swings left right left right really much.

3. Sirens won't work.

I tried with turn on frame limiter and it worked again.

Idk if some are aware of it maybe some.

Said just in case.

You need frame limiter enabled for avoid annoying bugs like those ones you mention, if not the game goes crazy.

Runs fine over here, it locks perfectly at 30 FPS, it's totally playable! I don't see what the big deal is.
