Hell, SA 1.01 becomes too much of a chore and I don't think anyone's using it anyway... :/

I am using a full 1.0 copy, that isn't pirated.

Except there might be a plot twist, if this is a plot.

I'm using TTDISA with a patch that allowed mods to be used with it, because you know... I like some of the beta features that were re-added and preferred that over the final version...

So if my game was crashing, maybe it's because I'm using that mod,

but since so much has changed such as a duplicate icon of the fist icon in-game?

that's probably why it's crashing.

I've been testing this "beta" version of the game with the patch, and it seems a lot of mods still work with it, but a small amount of mods like the speedometer mod, imfx and a few others may be unusable since it crashes or causes the game to show weird white boxes in areas the mod is because the game is probably missing a feature that it can't process because that feature is not there.

@Maxmatt Get yourself a decent full version gta sa v1.O copy :p.

So I forgot to mention TTDISA as a mod, you don't have to be so quibble about it. :/

You implied the patch is responsible for your crashes yet didn't mention something as major as TTDISA. My reaction shouldn't be a surprise honestly.

I downloaded SilentPatch for GTA 3 again today because I deleted my game and all patches. I don't know why but your mouse sensitivity settings fix is not working anymore on 1.0 /:

Weird, this was added in the last revision so should work just fine - it's in SilentPatchIII.asi and not ddraw.dll.

I tried it again. It really doesn't work. I don't know why.. it really used to work before.

Theres one more thing that GTA3 1.1 fixes and you can include it in SilentPatch it prevents the El Burro missions icon from being displayed after completing his last mission.

This is a SCM thing though, I doubt 1.1 touches that.

No, Its not a SCM thing. If it is SCM thing then why it does make a difference by just running the game with a different exe. Just try it. Use a save game in Portland where all El Burro missions were completed. Load it once with 1.0 exe and then with 1.1.

Hello Silent, I played the latest patch and the moon phases from the PS2 version are gone even though I'm using a 32-bit colored app. I tried speeding up the time to night time and it's still not phasing. I'm using the Borderless Windowed mode with wndmode.ini on it.

You sure the last numbers in resolution settings are 32 and not 16?

Task manager reports the architecture the game executable was compiled against... It has nothing to do with colors.

And it wouldn't be bad if you reported back whether this also happens in exclusive fullscreen mode.

Indeed, they don't work in windowed modes as far as I can tell. Not sure why, probably some obscure blending mode @NTAuthority used is only supported in exclusive fullscreen.

The moon phases seem to work with the last update:

Are you using Borderless Windowed?

It says 32 in the resolution and I'm using the latest update for Silentpatch about 2 months ago and I believe that this update really breaks the moon phase because of the sun rays fix. The last Silentpatch update works for me and the Borderless Windowed app really helps me with SA Launcher on Steam so that I can dual boot with SAMP and the Singleplayer version. I finally got it working by messing around with gta_sa.exe file and turns out that the moon now phases (even though it cannot open the Steam Overlay because I'm using the Steam Launcher), thanks for the solution!

Funny-odd bug: if there's a bicycle placed near fire (caused by some weapon, explosion, etc.), CJ will be on fire even if he quite far of it.
