PC one is smaller as PC farclip (draw distance) is lotta bigger and the size is dependant on it. I'll try to make a workaround.

What about the muzzle flash on weapons? It's always facing the same direction and angle no matter where you're pointing the gun (when it's not attached to the model, that is).

 

I know DK's mod fixes it, but it also has a bunch of other non-optional stuff which frankly I don't care for.

Are you planning to make the size .ini controllable? So we can adjustt he size of the sunhaze?

 

And will the sunhaze disappear when it's rainy or foggy?

 

Zera, I know exactly about that. DK his plugins contains so much stuff I don't care for.

You'll need to have all the plugins, if you remove one you don't want, game will crash.

Depends on how R* did it, I didn't add any coronas myself.

Ah yes, understood. It doesn't matter anyway for me because I use real-time clock in spaceeinstein's All in One mod.

NO SUCH THING. The PS2 effects, which are also on Mobile version, is caused a an overlay colorcycle plug in, which is embedded into the PS2 code itself and used as an additional DAT on the Mobile version. The actual timecyc itself is near identical between all versions, only the PS2 version having shorter draw distance (farclip) and fogging/hazing effects (fogstart).

The sun size was corrected without modifying the FarClip I see....nice :)

Will using bigger FarClip ruin the sun or it's independent?

With all the bugs SA PC has...it's surprising EA didn't publish it :)

The main reason I have to use 1.01 now is 720p - otherwise there's always black bars on the sides :( I mean why III/VC has proper resolutions and SA not? I have to use 1280x720 instead of 1366x768.

It's still dependant but I don't think it should be an issue. I made it bogger than the stock PC one anyway.

Are you doing any map related fixes?There are some floating bushes near pier 69, and there is also a weird fence bug in the desert airstrip, i can post some pics later if you want.

That sun thing is nice, yes, but will be optional, right? Contrary to popular opinion, I am satisfied with the standard PC version.

I have something in mind for car reflections but will require a lot of work, also will require editing someone's else work, which I don't think silent would agree.

Does anyone of you have any map editing skill? You guys could provide here some IPL lines about map corrections to help him, not only saying what's wrong with PC map. You have screens, videos, so let's move on :)

Not known yet, but interesting enough, everything done so far proves that this sh*t WAS left in the PC version, just Rockstar messed up the order of the code so much that it broke a lot of things, what Silent and the rest are working out is where these mistakes were and just putting them right.

It's not a mod, it's a patch, this should have been done by Rockstar if they ported this properly.

I agree with you, but hey, at least there is a pc version of the game.What bothers me is that VCS and LCS never got ported to pc, so look on the bright side, as buggy and glitchy the pc version of SA can be, the port exists, and the modding community has kept it alive.
