Can someone please confirm this...

If you play the first mission during night then after cutscene(exiting the cj's house) the time suddenly change into day time...

(Sorry for bad English...)

It's not a bug if you present it as a feature + I never actually noticed it on my PS2 version of the game ._.

I noticed this on PS2 and PS4 as well, this latter is the same thing as the first one. :p

Silent, I know this is a stupid thing to ask, but would it be possible to make the weapon / pickup coronas a bit brighter for III & VC?

 

Also, what about including a bugfix to allow forward / backward scrolling on radio stations? Iirc you can only scroll forwards on III and VC but not backwards. (Keymapping)

 

I mean I know theres already an external fix for this, but I feel this should be corrected from the start

That doesn't sound SP-y - maybe a separate mod?

III/VC only have 'next radio station' buttons so that's not a bug - I don't see why you can't use a third party solution though, especially the one relying on GInput. That's almost exactly what I would have came up with it if I was to make it myself.

Hello! After watching a video about downgrading GTA, i got one issue: after downgrading, the game does not allow to save game, it outputs: Save failed! There was an error while saving the current game. Please check you savegame directory and try again. Tried everything, reinstalling didn't help, vanilla version allows to save game progress. I hope u have a solution to that problem. It appeared after downgrading with checked add-ons, same as in the video.

Found a fix! :)

Reinstalling windows fixed problem. Error didnt appear in SilentPatched game anymore.

What you are describing normally should be fixed by SilentPatch - the fix suggests that, at least. If it didn't work even with SP, that might mean a bigger Windows breakage you had.

I just got reply, from video about downgrading gta, video creator gave advice to write here about my problem. Vanilla GTA without patch, was working well.

 

Now it's fixed

Also no, this screen is NOT about minimal HUD.

I'm not an expert on how this works, but I think thats a rendering bug, because of the visible model and the colision model might not match perfectly on some areas, and so the shadow might render under the visible model.

I don't think this can be fixed with SP, but please, if some one knows more on the matter, correct me if I'm wrong.

If you are talking about the environment lights reflecting in the roads on rainy weather, just set up every flag in the IDE files.

They mean the actual headlight texture, not the "reflection" of it. It's handled as a static shadow and disappears in the same places the static shadows do (I believe the LS boardwalk is one of those spots).

Hi Silent, would a modified main.scm/script.img work with these fixes?

 

  • Impound garages now function correctly, allowing the player to recover his last vehicle after it had vanished after a mission start
  • In addition, impound garages will now store player's car when he's busted

For example, I added conditions to mine to see if the player is wearing the police uniform in the impnd script.
