well, what i did was fairly simple, and i bet many people have done it too. what i did, is because i easily had $14,000, i bought the hyman condo,and got my heli on the roof

***LOOK AT BOTTOM FOR WAY TO GET HELI WHEN IT IS NOT THERE***

went over, and parked my maverick in front of the place. then, after the cutscene, i got in my heli, and flew to the constuction yard, will essentially missing no cars, i jumped out of my heli a couple feet from the ground, and got out my military colt. i shot everbody in sight, with the stats:

100 health

70 armor

then i was very easily able to get lance to the hospital.

*****WAY TO GET HYMAN HELI WHEN NOT THERE***** when you check the roof, and the heli isn't there, go to the ground, run over to the taco place on your right, run around the chairs once, and go back to the roof and it will be there.

 

and rescued lance, and drove to the hospital fairly easily.

I've tried that a couple of times, didn't work for me. I just ended up simply getting in a car, hiding around the back of the construction yard. Diaz's cars where tring to get me, but all got stuck and flipped over. I shot and killed all of them. Then there was an easy drive to the hospital.
