Anyone else seen this glitch? Blipless player

There was a player in God Mode shooting RPG's whose blip did not show in the map. I followed him/her for about 5 minutes in passive mode and their blip never appeared. Lester's Reveal hidden players function was greyed out on my phone.

 

I really hope Rockstar would patch these glitches soon :-(

what's really going to stick in your craw is when you find you can't shoot at the player, as if they are in a mission with you.

Yep, just ran into one of these guys as well. It's just another hack, as Pizentu said above.

 

PS. They can also kill you if you're in passive mode, too.

God mode, no blip, relentless attacking. Complete and utter douchebags.

Ran into one earlier. I was leveling up my Flying skill, and this ass shoots a missile at my Lazer when I was taking off. I dodged it, and I turned around, gunned him down, just to see him peacefully falling to the ground.

I ran into one today on the X360 GTAO. His GT was SUPER NOVA 804. Not only was he god mode, but he was moding money and setting billion dollar bounties.

 

Rockstar really dropped the ball with GTAO and hacks like this.

I killed a godmode player with no blip today. I can't say I like this much, it makes spawn killing them until they rage quit next to impossible.

i found it rather comical tonight when i finally found my first god mode. he has a 2billipn bounty on himself. it was awesome watching the chaos, everyone was trying to kill hil but we couldnt, tanks we're coming in left and right. it was epic.

I have a feeling they hacked the Lester Off Radar time to set it to whatever they want. One I saw was invisible for about 10 minutes, then he'd reappear for a few to disappear again for another 10 minutes.

There are a few ways to do it, one apparently involving modded consoles and the other altering tunables.json.

 

Both fall under a technical definition of hacking but thanks for trying.

 

Edit: or did you mean the glitch? That one doesn't last after they die.

Make sure you Report each and every one of these players. I ran into one the other day. Got 3 others to hit him with Reports and then we ghosted to a mission.

Sure it was a hack but there's also a glitch involving the Sandking XL and LSC where you become invisible and with no blip on the map, it's not permanent and everyone can do it.

It's way to easy for people to hack these days. Every lobby I went in yesterday had someone level 200 and above giving out money and in god mode. There's some way to change your DNS for consoles that lets everyday players hack.

this is not a hack, I was playing with my friend who said he did the DNS server glitch and was ranking up. He was invisible on the radar with god mode and i was unable to even aim at him. After i asked him to kill me to see if he would appear, I did not show up on the radar for him either and he couldnt aim at me. I think this is more of a server error glitch because i was in the lobby before he joined me and once he joined cars would disappear in front of me.

I saw this exact same thing and only noticed because the character had no shirt on (this was before the inevitable moment where they begin killing everybody).

 

He didn't kill me though and seemed they were a group of friends. No harm no foul but yes this could be very annoying.

Ran into one (literally) ten minutes ago. Pulled out of my garage sideways with lots of tire smoke like I always do and flattened the dude. He didn't have a blip so I didn't know he was there. He then proceeded to try and kill me for several minutes... -.-

 

I'm like, "Dude. You go invisible, then get mad because no one saw you? 'Dat logic, tho'."

they dont even bother to rob stores anymore. they just get an endless stream of rp.

I totally agree with this. If two people report a player they are autobanned until R* assess the situation.

Start -> online ->players -> options -> report.

I had one of these spawn right next to me, so I proceeded to knock him down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down with my gun (didnt kill him), he then dropped a 2 bill bounty on me and left session.

I think in a way it makes it more fun if people don't have blips. I had someone with no blip chasing me and shooting me whilst delivering the HP vehicle. I ended up looking around to see if I was being followed which made the game much more realistic
