Too soon? 12 years not enough time to make it a joke? South Park says 10 is the magic number.
Joking about something like that will never be funny. It was a tragic day. Would you be cracking jokes about it if you had a family member taken from you?

It's not wise to lecture people whom you do not know. What were you doing on September 11th, 2001? I was hunkered down in my reserve base, wondering if I was about be sent off to war. Guess what... we were.

 

If we can't live with what happened we will never heal. I didn't disrespect anyone in my comment, it was a joke more about the significance of the event, but I know I touched this sore little core by even referencing the event. We need to heal... for god's sake, if we don't heal from this we are doomed....

Does it matter what i was doing? No. But if it matters to you, i was huddled up in my igloo up here in Canada. We went to war too even though it wasnt our battle.

 

Cracking jokes about it means you have healed & now find it amusing? You are a sick & twisted individual who should seek professional help. I have "healed" and come to terms with it, as well as losing two close friends to the afghan conflict.

 

You may not have disrespected anyone directly but you sure as hell werent being respectful. People like you disgust me.

I'm not American, but all of you who keep living in the past and don't let go of 9/11.. Well all I can say is that if something bad happens to you.. you won't make it.
