I'm sorry, but I am pretty disappointed with Rockstar's choices of what to verify. Out of the thousands of tracks I know they had submitted THAT is the best 6 they could come up with? Two of them are complete garbage, two others have waypoint issues but are at least competent. only one out of the bunch I would have called a good track. I have been on so many exceptional tracks far superior to these it isn't even funny.

 

Very disappointing R*.

The track verification is not going to be based on quality. But instead off of popularity. You got a bunch of friends? You are part of a large crew? Got a TubeinYou channel? Your tracks are going to see more up votes and have a better chance of being verified.

 

Take a look at these races and tell me what you guys think:

Meh, the guy's just an attention whore. The only reason he posted that "you mad?" picture was because he only ever posts sh*tty Spiderman memes and he lacks the minute amount of skill it takes to make his own, so he just relies on a collection of about six or eight of these memes that he found one day on Reddit. Being that he has so few of these pictures on hand, and cannot make new ones, his posts are rarely (if ever) relevant and pertinent to the topic in which they're posted.

I'm pretty sure the races I spent 4 hours on all together are better than whatever got verified. But I don't have enough time to promote my ****.

Once mission creator comes out though, you better believe I'm going hard getting that **** promoted.

These new races are bullsh*t. Sure maybe I am biased but I want to know if Rockstar even played my crew's races. I mean WTF. These new races demonstrate a severe lack of thought and effort. The descriptions barely exist. One of the races is a tiny circle on the horse track akin to Criminal Records. Another is a straight section of highway with gaudy ramps placed 4 at a time in the middle of the road. A third involves climbing up the road to Mt. Chiliad at a snail's pace on a sanchez... Those are the best races? The only one that even seemed decent was Quick and Quarrelsome. I have heard the DM winners are equally bad.

 

If you want a short and easy race - my crew has a race that takes 20 seconds. If you want a race with sick jumps and aerial maneuvers Airborne is far better. If you want to go down Mt. Chiliad Suicide Run is better. CCC races all strive to be unique in some way. Duck Hunt takes you through the wind farm and downtown in a Mallard (extremely hazardous and fun). Raging Rapids involves going up and down water falls. Drunk Driver forces you to drive against traffic on freeways. Scavenger Hunt is the penultimate Rally Race. Airborne is perfect for people who like ramps and stunts. Motorbike Bandits has jumps, offroad, freeway, and underground sections. These races also have themes or scenarios that are at least plausible or somewhat well thought out - you are escaping from a robbery, training to be a stunt man, driving home after a night at the bar, etc.

 

I don't want to tout only the stuff from my crew, as lots of you have better stuff no doubt, which I would love to play. Rockstar has severely disappointed me.

Basically if you can't even come up with a description, you shouldn't be getting verified.

The only reason I don't promote my races more is because, at their core, they're pretty simple. I think they're fun, but they're just endurance races around the whole of San Andreas, with one of them having some difficult zig zags and turns. It's pretty basic, not worthy of being verified probably, but definitely better than THAT crap.

Complete joke. Couple of jets, buzzards and tanks in the city and the advanced rifle. 2 minutes of creation by a child.

 

I was really hoping that the verified ones were going to be the best of the best.

i've always wanted to share creations ever since tony hawk proskater (then came little big planet)... f*ck rockstar

Of the ones I've played, I like "Jumps Jumps Jumps" and "Over the Hill II" but I really don't like "Seal Team Six".

I'm just disappointed that they chose to verify them based on number of likes... Maybe I should join MP3 or one of the other huge crews to have a better shot at getting some quality jobs in there.

Oh, I totally understand, it's just unfair. Maybe if the matchmaking wasn't broken, I could get more than 3 people in a lobby at a time, and that would balance it out a bit, but... yeah, it's still balls, but I get it.

Lol i beat you too that,

but i makes barely any diffrence.

with a bit of luck you get a 16 player out of it,

but then you got people who are hacking or such, and people start leaving again.

and judging your maps on the dicks in it instead of the race.

The only half decent one is Drift kings.

A fun little track to wizz round solo. The rest are shocking.

I doubt joining big crews would do much either.

Never played Saving Ryan's Privates but in my mind I thought having having tanks,buzzards and jets in a deathmatch would be well epic but after hearing comments about my crew playing it....I change my mind...

 

I guess you can't turn GTA Online into Battlefield 4....
