Agreed completely, I jump through a couple of open lobbies to see how the land lies and if it's all idiots I go invite only, annyoing having to come right back out. Log out and back in again must have been because some people from the public lobby was in your race did you exit out on the voting screen ? because if you did it will throw you in a different session unless if you voted for free roam then you are back to the same session you were in before you joined the race Nope, I was solo in the race too. Log out and back in again i tend to find if you run a playlist, rather than jsut a single race this happens alot less. our crew regularly start from an IO session, then run a playlist and 9/10 times it dumps us back into an I-O session all together... used to piss us off alot when we'd all get split up into public lobbies, then one has to go offline and back into I-O and send invites.,.. can take upto 10 mins if the servers are being slow.... but i-o - playlist seems to be alot more stable... if your doing it to test a UGC track jsut make a quick playlist with the track on it twice.. or put your UGC track then a short track (old downtown) if you dont wana play the UGC twice... should dump you back in I-O when the playlist is done...
