They must already declare gta v online a bust, the $ has been made, there is nothing that can be done at this point to get all of us back to that excited feeling we got when we first got online to play. I think, they'll just carry on with original plans for future dlc's etc etc. They will continue using their $ allotted for hot patches and maintenance related issues with fixing hacks/glitches. They have made a ton of $, its just now any cash cards sold is just strictly extra bonus on the cake. I cant imagine seeing gta VI anytime soon. I still have fun, just much different then I envisioned when the online first went live

The most they probably will do is close servers & replace certain moddable files for everyone.

 

I'd be fine with them deleting any money that is over a billion. Nobody could legitimately have made that much money. Tbh they probably won't do anything DRASTIC like most people seem to want or expect.

They first have to fix the issue of being given unsolicited money and then fix the bounties. They would be foolish and wasting time on the user end and their own if they don't at least do that. Until then, what they can do they have done and it was ineffective.

Doesn't Rockstar probably have a method to detect if you're using a different DNS server? They probably log it all and once they find a way to stop people from connecting to alternate DNS servers, just ban the players that connected to alternate DNS servers in the past and then loop through the logs and revert the cash those players gave out?

that's up to ms and sony and that will only happen if enough people report their tags. The one's I've come across are using 48 hour trials and I'm sure they have other consoles (most have one legit while having others they can mod and unban at will or get another burner console ) so a lot of good that does.
