Surano worth buying? (Sports)

I never realized how cheap it was and I've heard its pretty quick. Looks nice too and I never see anyone driving it.

Do you think I should get one? How does it perform in races when fully modded?

Yeah I've heard that too. Any idea how it handles? I have a Coquette and a Feltzer which both handle like a dream but I'll have to replace one of them if I buy the Surano.

But it's a good car, not something I'd use a lot, though.

Everyone has different styles and tastes. What might be considered great by some could be considered bad by others. I myself have a garage of muscle cars and trucks. I understand you wanted an opinion but the only real way to see if the vehicle is any good for you, is to test it out yourself and see how you feel about it. If anything else you can ask a friend to test drive one if you are not sure you want to replace any of your coveted vehicles

I would have to agree with hercules888. I have a Benefactor Collection and I was very suprised to find I liked the Surano most out of all.

I consider the Feltzer and Elegy very similar cars and IMO the Elegy is hands down better...Feltzers a fun car to mod up in cool colors and stuff but driving wise, im not a big fan

I had a Surano. I liked it. I won a lot of races but I got tired of its handling. Quite slippery. But not enjoyable like the Comet IMO.

Yup that's what i have ice white, black hood, Red rims, thing looks sick..And when you mod the front end IMO its got the sexiest look out of any car online

It's my favorite car. Same top speed as the Carbonizarri, with slightly less acceleration. The handling slides a lot too, but it's a really fun car to drive and it looks great. It's also unique in races since you can't pick them as a default car, you have to own one.

The car looked nice, I didnt care for how it drove in races.......it made me think of riding around on a greasy track..the ass end kicks out real easy, i never did get the hang of cornering it at high speeds, but i didnt keep it that long...I am glad we can now sell purchased cars........at least i got 1/2 my money back LOL

I'd buy it for aesthetics alone. But in all seriousness, if you have room in your garage, it's a wonderful addition.

 

It corners very well, can lean into them at higher speeds than most of that class. Handling is also good, but as others have mentioned it's not exactly inspirational. It's not at all difficult to spin the rear around and considering its' weight, that can only make a bad situation worse - making it more difficult to correct a mistake. However there are perks with that weight as it's very solid and balanced allowing for those turns. Acceleration and top speed are among the best in the class, plus it's a soft top, a unique feature. It'll reward you if driven properly. It won't hesitate to punish you otherwise.

 

I take mine in Grace Red metallic with a Red pearlescent.

I love this car. It handles really fun. You have to be prepared for it though. Its based off the Jaguar F-type roadster mainly. The best handling cars IMO are the Carbonizzare, Surano, and Comet. I also love the Rapid GT.

Yes I love the Surano! It's very competitive with the top sports cars ( 9f, comet, feltzer, elegy, etc) it has very good straight line speed, and handles well around the corners

 

I don't like the spoiler options so I left it out, think it looks a lot better that way.

OP, I am late as heck to the party but if I may let you know where to find one easily w/o needing to ask a friend to loan you theirs. Over by the tunnel entrance by the LS River, there are a bunch of cholos there with 3 vehicles (1 Surano, 1 Rapid and 1 Gauntlet). Kill them and take the Surano for a stock test drive. I usually find them at night before 6AM game time. You won't be able to keep it for obvious reasons but maybe this will help you get a feel for how they drive.

No its definately a SLS copy... All Benefactors are Mercedes copies...

To say there is no Jaguar F-Type influence is incorrect.

 

 

 

 

 

Benefactor is indeed an alternate to the real world Mercedes-Benz, but this vehicle the Surano is most certainly predominately Jaguar F-Type, followed by Mercedes SLS (bonnet hood vents, greenhouse area/insert for air brake, large front end) as well as some Maserati (Gran Turismo S hood vents) and Dodge (Viper headlights) influence. For name sake I myself give the nod to SLS as well.

 

Cannot forget the Schwartzer either, mostly shared with the MB C63 AMG

Im not saying it doesnt have some styling cues from the F-Type (Rear lights are almost identical) but the closest IMO it comes to is a SLS. I think most people who know cars would see a SLS in it before the F-Type. To me its mainly the long bonnet (hood to those in the US) that gives me that impression.
