Off the top of my head and not necessarily in this order:

 

 

1. The Prologue, particularly the shoot out with the cops.

 

2. Seeing Trevor come out of the beach apartment covered in blood.

 

3. Michael, calmly and slowly- "Did you kill him?"

Trevor, outraged- "What kind of f*ckin' animal do you take me for? No I didn't kill him!"

Michael, relieved- "Oh, f*ck..."

Trevor, exited- "But I did kidnap his wife!"

Michael, panicking- "Oh no! Oh sh*t! The f*ck did you do?!"

 

4. "The Last One" Strangers & Freaks mission. Reminded me of Red Dead Redemption, which is why I bought it again.

 

5. Walking out of the Paleto bank with the bullet proof suits and minigun.

 

6. Starting a gang war by firing shots around the train track separating the Ballas and Families.

 

7. Listening to Lamar and Franklin talk in every encounter of theirs.

 

8. Ending C. Sniping Steve Haines. Annoying f*ck deserved it. Devin Weston's death was the best in the game, and I really loved it.

 

9. My first 5 star chase after story mode: After a while of messing around in Fort Zancudo, it started to get dark and I decided to get out of there. I jacked the Lazer and escaped by: Blowing up 3 Buzzards, 1 Cargobob, 1 Titan and 2 Lazers in Trevor's Lazer, barrel rolling out of the way of several missiles before ultimately being hit, flying towards the jet that hit me and then jumping out before the two collided and parachuting into the ocean, hijacking a speedboat, blowing up the police boats after me with sticky bombs and rocket launching the last helicopter out of the sky, dropping a grenade in my boat, diving out of it and letting it explode as I hid out underwater from the police, swimming south a ways and then walking up the beach as strangers by fires stared at me.

 

10. Flying a crop duster into the cargo plane and gunning down all of those guys inside.

 

Bonus- Watching the trailers and getting all giddy.

 

-Playing GTAO. Awesome, but still waiting for those heists.

 

-Blowing up the meth lab, then the aftermath with the sniping if the hillbillies and stuff.

Wow so far all these moments about GTA 5 are great,regardless of GTA Online problems.The Singleplayer is a masterpiece and you can tell with all these moments...cool guys,let keep going.

Haha true dat. Trevor and Lamar are the most hilarious characters, when you put them together you get comedy gold.

Man, try hangin out with Lamar and Trevor while using franklin in free roam (yes ! You can do that ) its frickin hilarious and i have just done it one time, i will try it again just to listen to some more comedy.

Can I come back to you about the rest. I need to finish & then replay it, if I can get the SP save files to load, without having to keep deleting the system update (so annoying).

1. Trevor driving Patricia back to Madrazo (if you leave me now clearly fits perfectly).

 

2. Martin : "Trevor!!!", Trevor : "Martin!!!" (Awhile after Trevor kidnaps Patricia. It is so random and funny).

 

3. Jimmy's troll explanation.

 

4. Franklin, Lamar and Trevor (Chamberlain Street Gang 4 Live !!!!)

 

5. Driving for the first time in V in the prologue mission.

 

6. Jewel Heist, from prepping until execution.

 

7. Using the weaponized JB700.

 

8. Packie's story while on the way to Paleto Score.

 

9. Hearing Lester about Niko going quiet.

 

10. The whole script takes GTA to a new level in dialogues (although a bit of a stepback in storyline.).

3. Chop helping on missions, wish there were more missions involving him.

4. Heists and the set up missions, UD and Paleto Bay being my favorites.

5. Finding the Adder for the first time.

6. Trevor stomping the sh*t out of Johnny.

7. Discovering Packie as a random character then using him on heists.

8. Franklin stealing the JB 700. It's a shame we don't get it with the guns and spike strips.

9. Shooting the special rifle in Caida Libre mission.

Lovely moments

I found 2 of my new favourite moments during my 2nd playthrough :

 

During the mission where you go bike riding with Jimmy while using Michael, Jimmy changes the radio station to west coast classics on the way to the Vespucci beach and starts saying how that's his jam, if you change the radio station again, Michael will say "nice try" then Jimmy will call him a tyrant lol.

 

On the same mission, if you ride the bike behind Jimmy, he'll start saying things like "You shall not pass". Then Michael starts to negotiate with him like "You didnt say anything about the TV size, how about twenty inches ?"

 

It is a big mistake to rush the game on the first playthrough. Things like these can get left behind without you knowing.

1. Franklin an Lamar mission when you get in the car and N.W.A appetite for destruction starts playing.

2. Lamar "niggaaaaa"

3. Michael putting a gun to Franklins head and beating up Simeon.

7. Trevor destroying O' Neils meth lab and burning his house down

10. three very unique protagonists working together for the very first time

9. playing tennis for the very first time

8. doing yoga for the very first time

7. going to the movies for the very first time

6. playing golf on a full 9 hole golf course for the very first time

5. three choices in the end (I've obliviously picked c twice and I'm definitely picking that again)

4. having a wife and kids for the very first time in any gta game

3. taking Michael's wife out on a date night for the very first time

2. Michael, trevor, and franklin remaining friends in the deathwish option

1. that big shootout at the foundry and tying up loose ends with lamar davis helping franklin and his boys out

Damn I've had quite a few with this game. Broadly off the top of my head

 

- First time playing I spent over an hour in the prologue looking at all the details.

 

- Once I was in Los Santos I did the same thing. It was hours before I even completed more than 5 missions. I was just in awe at all the details.

 

- And never would have thought it would count as a top moment but GTA Online with friends has been one of the most hilarious online experiences I've ever had.
