says the one calling other people names and then demanding their psn/xbox account name . now the only reason why you would be fine with either a psn or an xbox account name is because you have both systems . last i checked people with wayy too much time on thier hands have both systems

this is how you defeat a tank

1. never play gta online again
2. invite only session
3. play better gain skill in calling in airstrikes while luring them somewhere they cant get out fast enough
4. grenade launcher curves down over distance so when on a rooftop not to high you can actually shoot it while standing in the center of the roof and still nail the tank and the tank cant nail you
5. go kamikaze put 5 stickys on the hood of your car and ram then blow up the back part of the tank
6. get a tank creep up by calling lester and removing your blip
7. get a jet (lazer) and use the cannon
8. use rpg
9. throw your console against the wall or cry to R* about your issue

 

 

heres another tip, send the dude a blank message, while while hes going to read it pull the btch out of the tank? or wait till he goes in the pause menu or something I mean its not really hard, everytime some1 comes at me with a tank in always pulling them out of it or getting my own tank or blowing them up

 

i saw how people on passive mode can pull you out too

It's not the money, it's not the glitches, it's the multitude of tanks that are now ruining this game.

The next most powerful vehicle, the Buzzard, can be defeated in a multitude of ways, why add a vehicle that is overpowered and difficult to defeat..?

 

Just get rid of tanks... or do that trip thing where they only shoot flowers.

I agree..to a point.Remove them from free play but keep them in missions and anywhere else.Most (not all) people who use them in freeplay mode,think they are tough when in fact they are cowards..just hiding behind all that armor and going after people or even the same person over and over again.You say go to private match..what if you want to play with others and they dont want to leave?Or maybe you want to test yourself against other random people?No random players in a private match really.

thats never gonna happen , rockstar wants the tanks in free roam because they know they can make you buy shark cards to buy a tank with . plus the military base would look stupid with no tanks in it

I don't believe myself to be a cry baby. I do however think there is a balance problem with the tanks. I like the tanks. I own one and have used it a few times. The thing about them is that they are the top dog combat weapon in game. They should not be something everyone has though due to the modding money issues this has become the case. Dealing with the occasional tank is cool, being forced to play an online game by myself to avoid seeing them is not cool. I don't want them to go away by any means. Having the tank vehicle deathmatches is awesome, having them be available to steal at the military base works for me, having tanks and military come after you for a level 6 wanted level so you could jack them would rock too, but being able to purchase them and call them at will seems a bit wrong to me.

 

I know how to kill them, I know how to avoid them, I don't whine when I see them or get killed by them...but in some way I do agree with the OP on some needed adjustments.

calling them at will isnt the best in this game since they always leave far from where you are at so that anyone else can take it from you . to me that right there is pretty balanced

again it would eliminated one of the cash cows for rockstar. the best you will see once they fixed the money problems is them patching the glitch where you can buy the tank before getting to level 70 .
