question about hacked bounties

last night i was in a hacked lobby, and 1 of the hackers put a 200 million dollar bounty on me. I was close enough to my safe house to get away from everyone, here comes my question...

 

 

I was in my safe house for roughly 45 minutes, and had not yet won the bounty, how long do bounties take to win? do the hacked bounties require someone to kill me for the bounty to end?

 

any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You can't wait out bounties in your apartment any more. You could have waited it out in the open safely in an invite only session.

Wait it out in an invite only with a friend. Once you get the money share 75% of it with your friend. Make sure you share it, otherwise bad things could happen. You can do this by going to "cash" in the interactions menu < "share cash from last job" < player you wish to gift< %< confirm.

 

Also make sure your GT or PSN is linked to a Social Club account. All this will prevent you from getting in the Cheater Pool btw.

This is absolutely TERRIBLE advice. Rockstar has clearly stated that you won't get placed into Cheaters Pool for acquiring a hacked bounty. However, you can be placed into Cheaters Pool for sharing it. Do NOT share the hacked money.

 

You can go into an invite-only session by yourself and remain outside for 48 minutes. You will then earn the bounty yourself.

 

Don't share it.

Also, the advice about linking your PSN or GT to Social Club is nonsense as well. There's no need to do anything on that front.
