Hey Everyone

 

I am in a terrible state over here trying to get online (xbox360) booted up my gtav, was prompted to install latest update, so I updated, then got a message saying > one or more downloadable content packs is missing that is required for compatibility in GTA Online. Proceed to the Xbox Games Store to download, so I did and saw the beach bum update, erh!!? I have that already lol, so I downloaded it anyway and I still got the same message > one or more downloadable content packs is missing blah blah blah, so I cleared out my system cache, downloaded updates again, had another crack on getting online, still the same message, even tho I have the beach bum downloaded and installed, so went into system settings again ugghrr? only this time went into games and apps and found the beach bum update? and also the latest update, deleted both, switched off console, rebooted,installed latest update and beach bum update, still the SAME SH*%!!!! wtf is going on??? I even tried going in solo online, still get the same message?

 

Please can someone help me out and tell me how I can get around this very frustrating problem, its really depressing me.

There should be a download marked as a compatibility dlc. Lemme see if I can find it.

 

Edit: I am not seeing it... I though t I had to install one but I'm not sure now.

yeh the compatability dlc is the beach bum update, but thanks for the reply anyway

I don't bother with Online, never did. All I know is everytime Rockstar does a new Patch or something to "tweek" the game, it actually worsens the game in another area. Wait until they "fix" this issue, something else will go wrong, always has since the start of this game, you mark my words, it'll happen, you wait and see!

 

Rockstar's staff members are f*cked up with engineering this game.

Well all I want to do is play my favourite game and now I can't even play with my friends, on Boxing day to, what a f*cking joke, it really is, I paid hard cash for this game and now this is happening, I never get this problem with other games and I have at least 40 in my library, but if its not one problem with GTA, its something else, all that money they made on launch day and they still can't fix the mess they are making. All I want to do is play my game, but I can't because that stupid message keeps appearing preventing me from going online, I can't get online, I just can't, its very annoying that this keeps happening, I have given up, I can't be assed anymore trying, I will just have to wait until they fix the problem AGAIN!!?

It's frustrating indeed. I don't have the problem you have, but my PSN doesn't even allow me to go online! The game has been wacky since the Online Launch Day. Loads of people experiencing problems with Online. I am not a fan of Online, but can see where you're coming from. The Online part of this game is one big Glitch. Sorry it has problems and giving you problems man.

happens to me also. To resolve it, when the message popped up i quit to storage, clear cache and restart, and it works every time. I think going to the xbox store to download might have caused irreversible things to happen.

 

Just a guess on your behalf..and please dont get depressed over gta 5...its seriously not worth the stress some people get over it

I have done what you mentioned, still the same message, clear cache, same message, goto games n apps, individually delete updates, reboot/restart, same sh%!t, over n over n over, same friggin thing.
