Racing glitch/hackers?

I raced Down the drain last night (xbox). I got 1st place out of a total of 5 players, with $2000 more or less in winnings.

The players in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, on the other hand, had like 144000000 in winnings.

This is one I haven't come across before, and can't find anything about with YouTube, etc. the guys also had the same initial, or whatever, at the start of their gamer tags.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yea someone I raced against got 3rd place and won something comparable. I think its got something to do with the DNS thing
