I found the snow to be a bit annoying. When me and a friend were robbin' armoured trucks and sh*t. The police had an easier time boxing us in as they slipped and slid across the road, making it hard work for us to get away. I'm glad it's gone. I've not been online since Xmas eve, but I might pop on later and have a look. Sure will be easier to drive around.

So much effort on driving though but it was a nice change, everything else looked pretty and at least we can have a taste of North Yankton in the actual city which was pretty fun

Yeah another baffling decision by the idiots at r* however I can make it snow simply by changing the date & time setting on my ps3 to December 25th, I'm sure it'll work on Xbox also. Change your date & time settings to December 25th then start an invite only or a solo session and enjoy the snow again

Change your ps3 date & time settings to December 25th then start either a solo.or invite only session or if you've done the story mode mission: bury the hatchet - you can access north yankton online with a 2min watching of a YouTube video and a helicopter

 

All main roads on north yankton can be used to have your mechanic deliver cars to you whilst in n.y

 

If you wanna enjoy snow in GTAO those are your options

It doesn't work on Xbox as the system time is synced to Xbox Live.

it won't work, if anyone noticed, snow started before christmas day in some timezones meaning that it was the servers date settings that turned it on
