Episodes From Los Santos in 2014 ???

  1. 1. What do you think

Do you think R* will release Episodes From Los Santos in 2014... if I remember correctly, they promised 2 Story DLC for 2014 + they did the same thing with IV.

PS: I also think we will get The Complete Edition sometime in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, XBox 360, XBox One & PC.

I think there'll be a GOTY edition instead of a Complete edition. With all the DLCs and the game in one.

There is alot of this threads already but to answer your question,it a (NO),the Episodes were special and counted as installments.but we never know.but again i dont think so seeing we have 3 Protagonists in one game.

I'm pretty sure that Dan Houser/Rockstar has stated that there would be no episodic content for GTA V like we saw for GTA IV. Though I do think that some sort of Complete Edition or GOTY Edition of GTA V, featuring all available (at least) single player DLC on the one disk, will be released at some stage; as was the case with Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire.

This i agree with you bro plus the EFLC were Episodic games which were counted as installments that why GTA 5 makes the total games in series 15.but i hope before the series reach it 20 years milestone in 2017(1997-2017)there should atleast be more than 15 games.

I want something like this, but I voted no because I would like it to expand to other areas like North Yankton.

I say it won't happen, but I hope it does. Whatever we get, I hope it keeps the characters we have but expands their story, gives us North Yankton, shows us more Trevor Philips Industries, gives us a Casino Heist (for online!) and more animals.

They've already said they won't be doing episodes like they did with IV - there are no extra playable characters to be introduced, so why bother doing it in an episodic way?

As we already have three protags, I expect the DLC to be a prequel-style story, where we see what they were doing before they were introduced in V, and a follow up to the main story. I'll be interested to see how this is impacted by player's choice of ending, and whether that choice will be reflected in the follow up.

Or we might just get a bunch of stuff that happened at the time of V's main story, but wasn't included (like L.A. Noire's DLCs, which fit in at various points of the story, but were not initially available)

Signatures are dumb anyway.

Irrelevant and invalid. I'm not doubting he said that. In fact, what you said is completely true, I REMEMBER them saying that.

But number one this was said a long time ago and since then they said they were working on just that. Number two they said Liberty City Stories would never come out for PS2, and that was just a lie to get people to buy more PSPs. And number three they said "Okay, I know we lied last time, but this time Vice City Stories is DEFINITELY not coming out for the PS2," and THAT was a lie.

Personally, I love it when Rockstar lies to us. It keeps our expectations low and then they give us cool sh*t.

Thing is EFLC lost a lot of money through poor sales. R* can go back on not having property (for example) in V SP but where money is concerned they absolutely, cannot and probably won't take that risk again of pouring away money into episodes that sold poorly. That'd be financial suicide for them. Remeber back in 2008 they were in trouble as far as money went and IV saved them. Then they turned around and made EFLC that while a critical success, was a commercial flop maybe due to exclusivity deals

R* did say (on Kotaku as I'm checking the news feed in Steam) no more big DLCs. So, I'm expecting reskins and cheaply made stuff now.

Perhaps Rockstar should pay more attention to the main game before they start planning the DLC. Hackers are ruining the game meanwhile Rockstar are already in the process of creating another game.

Cicero The Great

V is a huge success

They could take even some risk at this point with at least one big story related DLC

We guess that the part when Michael and Trevor are forced to leave los santos would be perfect for it

The only clue rockstar gave Us in that regard is that ''casino " opening soon'' for now

Ok but according to the GTA page on wikipedia,The Lost and Damned sold 1m copies so that not bad sales for the Episodes

what game are they making? Because the last time a GTA game came before GTA 5 was 5 years ago(not including Chinatown Wars or the Episodes)
