Is there a way to mute EVERYBODY?

It's starting to get a bit annoying that every time I join GTAO the 1st thing I have to do is mute all the f*cking kids who have mics, only to have to keep doing this as more kids join throughout the session. I like listening to the sounds of the city but not 2 f*cking 8 year olds yelling at each other.

 

Out of all my PSN friends, only about 10 have mics. I'd honestly rather unmute 10 players than mute 1010 kids. The GTA IV system was so much better. If you yourself didn't have a mic, it was blissful silence... I miss that.

 

Kinda fun hunting the extremely annoying ones down though. Most of them can't play freeaim for sh*t.

on xbox you can just start a party.

 

in GTA you can mute everyone in the options. just set it to freinds and crew only.

@DMC14 I'm sure I have tried that but it didn't work. Does that not make it that only your crew can hear you but you can still hear everyone?

Sorry but i don't have any experience in muting kids yelling at each other in freeroam

Start > Settings > Audio > Voice on speaker > false (PS3).

 

It will mute all. You can join new seasons. But when you restart youre ps3 you have to do it again.

umm, rofl? easier way would be to go the quick menu then turn off chat at the bottom

When I set it to "Crew + Friends" in the Select-Menu, I can only hear my Friends or Crew in Free-Roam. But in Races or Missions I can still hear everybody. Can I fix it?

no, you cant hear anyone else. i play like that most the time (if im not in a party).

 

I think there may be an option in there to turn off everyone's voice. either way im pretty sure that you can still hear people if you go into a mission/job.
