Low levels and high levels being seperated.

My male character is level 208 and the female is level 40.

 

Join free roam with the 208 and almost every session is 200 million dollar bounties or being gifted cash ( Got another 700 million yesterday off someone).

 

Never met a hacker with the female character apart from when I purposely joined a money lobby

 

Right the point is, do you think they're keeping the low levels away from the higher ranked players? The low level character is always with low levels with about 60 maximum. The high level 208 is always with ranks 1000's, 150, 200 and 300's with maybe the odd level 3 but it's not common.

 

Perhaps maybe Rockstars way of keeping the new players away from hackers?

I dunno, but I do know that I spent 30 minutes continually changing sessions, and the highest ranking person I've seen was somewhere in the 300. My rank is 15.

there still are WAY too many modders going around now, first it was kind of fun but now its just annoyingly ridiculous to see "a bounty of $99736000 has been placed on ***"

 

i have a feeling rockstar will end up punishing those who RECEIVED money randomly too

it's mysterious the matchmaking system, but I've suspected this to be the case for some time now. I have the same experience as described, my low level alt usually appears in low level lobbies as my higher level main ends up in high level lobbies. It would be prudent for the producers of the game to segregate the population in my opinion.

If the person is over rank 200, 95% chance they're a modder lol. Of course there are exceptions but i'm sure people don't reach rank 300 legitly.

I'm on Xbox and yes you do see it happen but not as common. I see loads of high ranks with my 208 but the level 40 I might see 1 or 2 in the day. Likewise, my 208 rarely plays in lobbies with level 3 but the level 40 almost always is surrounded by players less then level 20.

I'm in a lobby now with a level 16,7, 19 (2xs), 490 (modder/glitcher) and a bunch of level 1xx....it's been like this all day so it's not a common occurrence.

There is something with the match making for sure. my rank 135 guy is mostly put in lobbies with over 100 ranked people.

 

my level 64 is normally put in lobbies with ranks 1-100

 

granted I still see the occasional high levels but I think its mostly when they join a friend or crew session if none of their friends or crew are in a low level server and it cant match them with anyone I think it bunches the high levels together and the low levels together.

The matchmaking option is for when your doing missions/jobs so that your mission/job is closed to anyone except who you invite. People still get in unwanted but for the most part that's what it is for. There aren't any filters for free roam other than good sport/bad sport/ cheater's pool.
