who here is annoyed about getting gifted money (that might be glitched) from randon players?

 

i was last night, i did report it to rockstar support to ask them to remove it, but today (wanting to enjoy the snow in gta online i gave in and listed as resolved and told rockstar i was going to delete my old character and start over, and hope i don't get gifted again) and i asked them not to ban me.

i am slightly annoyed. I mean I know some are just being nice but I'd prefer working for my dough instead...I got gifted 100 thousand earlier and it could have been legit and non-hacked but idk lol.

What are you going to do when you get gifted again, or have you resolved yourself to playing in only private matches...that is after all the only way to guarantee it doesn't happen to you again.

Not modded server.. just hang around any regular lobby for a while and you'll be gifted money by someone. I'm near two billion now from 9 or 10 gifts.

No they're not, they're trying to get you dumped in cheater pool or worse. If they wanted to be nice, they'd leave you alone to play your own game the way you want to. Being nice is driving passed you and honking even though you have a bounty on your head ;-)

Eh. Personally I'm not when i first got gifted the money. Lost interest in trying to earn money from races since everyone would use custom cars or always tail whip me to win every time (sure i could do the same but never really was one to enjoy doing so in order to win...). As well as survival mode (granted I was somewhat fine before the hacks) But hey some people like to play the game in a honest manner. Others, such as myself, use the money to have fun in the game (customize cars and go on chases with the police) and (since my bro modded my character to 300, yes I'm admitting it) I use it to fight trolls that want to kill me for no absolute reason with tanks (and no I don't troll other players because of my level. I hated being trolled before hacking, wouldn't make since to do same to lower players) -_- Really wished R* brought in heists. Maybe then people wouldn't resort to hacking the game for money. Also I'm not trying to justify the hackers, just saying some people don't mind it.

Just so everyone knows. Hitting the power button works with shared money, but if your get a bounty set on you it won't work. So if you don't want it, find a person that's not a drooling thirst bag for money, but make sure you tell them not to share it with you.

This is like the second thread I personally have posted in on this subject and the first one I replied to was me complaining asking where the hell the mods were to handle this crap and it actually got the thread locked.

 

At one point there was literally every other thread on "o I got gifted money, what do I do" there's gotta be over 50 threads now on this sh*t.

 

There only needs to be one, then all you guys can discuss there.

well i deleted my old character and created a new one, at first after doing the intro and first race i looked at my bank account and it listed $100 billion in my account after that my game froze so i had to shut down my xbox and restart the game then after i got back in i looked at my account and it listed $9,000 that time (wtf)?

and after getting having to shutdown again this time my choice and restarted and since my cheap digital camera has no sd card, and right now i on a budget and don't have the money (lol), i used my laptop's webcam to take a picture of my account as proof (right now i have about $8,000 now since i had to buy clothes).

and since i dont have any accounts to any online photo sites (and i dont want any).

Got given $800m last night, right before I had to log off. Not sure how I feel, I mean at the time I had $150k on me and it felt like hitting the lotto, but now I know I can buy anything, and I'm not that thrilled about it. Damn sure ain't gonna delete it tho lol, I'm gonna spend it all.
