Hair glitch

My character had a bald head (close shave) now got some reason he has cornrows basically tattooed on his cranium, even with different hair styles I can still see it, any one know how to get rid?

As far as I know, no one has yet found a solution on how to fix this problem.

It's the same as the wearing a mask and than your character goes bald after taking the mask off. No one has found a way yet to solve it also. Your best would be to send R* a support ticket about it and hope it achieves something.

I'm saying this for the third time, the suicide option works 'kill yourself option from thy select menu'. Worked for me

had the same damn problem with mine last night. i shut the game down before i even left the barber shop... hoping the next time i turn it on, it wont be there.

I have a feeling the fix for this is going to be quite extensive. For some reason, they tied all hats, masks and hair functionality in one "method."

From a object support standpoint, it makes sense so that hair doesn't clip through hats and masks. However, seemingly, putting the hair back to original should be simple. It should be the same concept like when hats are removed and added when entering and exiting a vehicle. Hell, could even reuse the same method. Why hats are removed from cars is beyond me though.

 

But without actually seeing the code, its hard to tell why this is such a hard fix. Usually, when something seems simple to fix, comes down to an easily overlooked code bugged that is a PITA to track down. Like a missed semi-colon for new (and old) programmers. Stupid semi-colons.
