If they extend it for those who didn't get to experience it, fantastic. Either way, though, since it's now obviously a part of the game, I hope R* will concider letting the snow back into the game randomly and occassionally. It would be nice in small doses from time to time. Also give us snow balls to throw next time maybe. Snowball DM anyone?

Ya its pretty dumb they would do it the one day of the year most people wont have time to play. A ton of people are traveling. Spending time with family and friends. I wont be logging on today. Waste of time to add this to the game and only use it for 24 hours, and 24hrs most ppl wont be logging on

It's like today, I am getting ready for work and then we are having a party for 21 people. My ps3 is still going to be collecting dust until tomorrow.

 

I have well and truly missed the snow.

Didn't miss much, tbh when I started up the game I thought the game lost all texture and now just a blob of white. Seriously, the snow is crap. North Yankton snow is much better

You'll learn once you get older. You'll learn how we men handle gaming, children, and girlfriends at the same time. Most revolves around technology such as smart phones. What you thought to be a smart reply, has only made you look stupid. I'd maybe remove the notepad from your school bag, and go back to the drawing board.

Thanks for the responses everyone, tis great to see many people enjoyed the snow. Alas, it seems our efforts were too little, too late, our shouts of injustice falling upon deaf ears.

 

 

 

Plz no I hate the snow, can't wait for it to end. At least give the option to turn it off! Shouldn't ever snow in Los santos.. Just up north maybe and up on chiliad. They should improve the snow mechanic if they ever do this again.. Make it good like rain. Really I just hate racing on snow.. Can't play any race on a normal track.. Sucks =\

It's easy to race, you just need actual driving skill and not just "slam the gas and turn" skill

so how do you just assume I have no driving skill and just "slam gas and turn" skill? Im more than likely a better driver than you. Just because I'd rather race on a normal track and not slide around on ice doesn't mean I can't drive.. It just means I don't like driving in the snow..

They definitly could have kept it a bit longer. Not everyone wants to play GTA all day instead of spending time with family. They should just make the snow random, join a lobby with snow, join a lobby without snow. Random snow lobbies.

Even if they don't have snow in free roam again I think it should be a weather option when you host a race. It adds another dynamic to races that is pretty cool.

Search snow in the forums. There was a well responded to thread made around the same time as this one which had tons of snow pictures. Can't remember what it was called, think it had Wonderland in the title.

 

I'd post some of mine but I'm too disappointed at the failure of the Snow Petition.
