Flying stat won't go up

I've been trying to get my flying stat up... Done lots of air races and been flying around the city for quite a while it doesn't seem to be going up at all. All my other stats are maxed but can't seem to get flying up. Any ideas?

The flying stat, stealth and lung capacity take the longest to fill up. You need to fly a LOT. It also helps if you destroy things from the buzzard helicopter. Keep at it, it takes a while but it will eventually get there. All of my other stats besides stealth and flying are maxed. I just don't spend much time flying and sneaking around.

i have the platinum award for time in heli and im 8+ hours of fly time i think my flying stat is 80/100

you could get into a heli and take off land over and over again (clean no hard landings.) I think I saw someone say that works. (not too sure.)

fly high or very low do stunts and race trough the city with a plane and get perfect landings and takeoffs. try to steal a jet and fly fast make sharp turns and fly under bridges and do stunts in it.

Get an airplane that has retractable landing gear. Just hang out at the airport for a bit and just keep landing and putting the gear up and down repeatedly and it will go up.

This is what I did a while ago and it works but still takes a bit of time.

Land planes on the proper runway in the correct direction (blinking lights show the way). This will raise flying stat as well.

this worked for me-- goes up relatively fast (I think I maxed in about 30 minutes or so)
