Also, the reason why Franklin is cursing out Lamar is because they're friends so he feels comfortable telling him how stupid he is whenever he makes a mistake. On the other side he doesn't know Trevor as good and is even afraid of him, or his reaction, to some extent so rather chooses not to get involved.
