Airstrikes are fun

1. get a pickup truck (dustking xl or somethhing)

2. park it fairly close to and facing your target

3. get out and stand in the back

4.call up merryweather and reqeust an airstrike

5. press the right trigger to drop the flair

6. get in and drive as fast as you can

7. profit

the flare will lay on the truck while you are driving.. then drive to your target i think he mean..

instead of having the airstrike drop in one place it follows the flare in your truck

so you're leaving a trail of explosions as you drive

There are some special cases. I had a really successful strike when I had a bounty on me and was in the tunnels underground. I was at the turn-styles going to the train the time and they obviously didn't know I was down there, and while they were looking for the entrance I threw the flare down. I guess they couldn't see the smoke because it took a good amount of a crew out. It's more about how rare any effective situations come around IMO, but for now they're pretty useless. We should be able to choose the location from the map no matter where we are, then I could see a beacon plane fly over before the strike to drop the signal flare maybe 5-10 seconds before the airstrike hits. That would be a lot better in my opinion. Not too overpowered and I don't think the warning would be too much time.

This thread might be useful if that's how it worked. It doesn't. The jet bombs the spot you threw the flare, regardless of where the flare moves afterwards.

I've done this dozens of times

and you're wrong

it will follow you, if you're too slow it will even hit you

shame it doesn't last for very long though
