Well it's Christmas and I can't get in a single online session but I imagine if I do, it will be filled with squeakers since they will be the only ones getting GTA 5 this late in time. The game is rated M for mature/17+ so I don't know why they're even playing the game. Rockstar should implement a detection system for squeakers and automatically ban them from online for not obeying the ESRB rating.

I think the loyal fanbase would appreciate that very much and have seen it called for many times.

That rating is recommended, not the law. Rockstar has given you many options to mute or spawn kill anyone who annoys you. What a kid should be learning is on the parent. In some parts of the world, kids see much worse happen in real life.

I was in a race with 6 squeakers. All low levels bragging about who got the most 'modded' cash.

 

 

I wanted to slap the sh*t out of them all..

 

 

Funny thing is after I won the race by a HUGE amount of time. The 2nd place kid says. "How did Vooodu win, he must be a modder"....lol LOL!!!

 

 

Yep, taking the 1st turn and watching the kids bite it never catch to back up... Yep, thats me the modder.

haha a few weeks ago some dumbass accused me of being a modder because of my 200+ rank and because he couldn't beat me in a race. he then says he is going to run backwards and hit me every chance he gets and block the track too. for the next 2-3 races he tried and failed multiple times until he got fed up and left the room. idiot. did he not even bother to notice my 1100 races? granted my win/loss sucks as it's about 300 wins to 800 losses, but i had a lot of 2nd and 3rd place finishes. losing a race =/ coming in last.

Exactly. I love how so many people treat ratings if they were law, or think that they should be. They're guidelines for concerned mothers and kids who buy M-rated games because of the 'cool' factor, because all E-rated games are automatically for babies or something. /shrug.

There are squeakers in every game. This is nothing new.

In the UK the age rating for games is the same as for movies, so it is law. Didn't realise it was different in the US.

In the US, there is no law with age limits on who can play any type of rated game. The rating is only law for buying purposes. You have to be 17 to buy an M rated game. But, that law does not state you cannot give it to someone under 17.

Ratings for movies are considered law in the UK as well? I wasn't aware. Guess we both learned something today. ;0

Just a week ago, a f*cking squeaker and his 3 other squeaker friends joined my party and played Justin Bieber - Baby on his mic on FULL BLAST at 2 IN THE MORNING. I went and kicked and reported the main guy who was playing the music. 3 days later, I can't search his gamertag anymore. Those 12 year olds was randomly joining people's party and starting screaming and playing annoying sounds/music. They also do that on the game chat.

There's really not much you can do about them except mute them and ignore them. Whenever my friends and I run into a bunch of squeakers we just go open season on them and hunt them down continuously until they finally get irritated enough and leave.

thats the exact problem with this game. foul mouthed little kids.

If i get banned because the "detection system" hears my grandson through my headset and accidentally bans me I'm coming for the OP....just saying. What a bumblefuk idea.

 

You do know there is a mute option and also an option to only hear friends....but yeah, lets just go banning people all willy nilly like anyway...who needs the tools built into the game to reduce the amount of chatter?
