GTA Online: Snow, how do you get rid off it?

1 day problem? Excellent, don't mind those who are saying it's off until January the 5th.

 

The Xmas outfits disappear on the 5th, the snow is for a day.

 

Rockstar has said that the snow will only be for one day, Christmas day. It did, however, snow on Christmas Eve, despite their insistence it would not happen. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted a day extra.

Actually, maybe if you deleted all the game data beside your save files, re-installed, and choose 'online' instead of 'story mode' when first booting up the game, it MIGHT work.

Yesterday when I logged in after the snow began to fall, I didn't have any snow (I went straight to online, into a lobby where friends we're playing and had snow, but I didn't). I loaded SP and then from SP went back into the lobby with my friends, and then there was snow.

There is no snow anymore. Thnx rockstar that u have not thought that players who are with family on chistms day and cant play gta, that maby they also liked having snow in gta pfff.

i just wanted to be able to race without snow.. If that makes me a grinch then w/e. Don't mind it in Free roam just wish when I set weather to "clear" in races it was actually clear and wasn't a fking snowstorm

Hey, I'm not used to making threads or whatever they are called on forums of games but I made a account recently to ask other GTA Online players on a way in which you can turn off the snow, I know some of you love having snow on GTA Online, and so do I; however, the main problem I have with it is when I want to change the weather setting when hosting jobs with my friends and others is that when I try to change the weather setting to Clear and the time of day to Noon it doesn't work and when the job starts the snow is still there; this then affecting my driving and effecting my overall online experience and if there isn't no way to do so, I'm afraid I can't enjoy GTA Online and won't play until the snow goes on January the 5th or you can have the option to turn it on or off.

 

In conclusion, other GTA Online members who are having the same problems please feel free to express your opinion on the matter and those who can give me an update on this situation (Turn it off an on) can please tell me how to do so.

You got to change servers sometimes for it to turn off. Happens to me.

The only reason I don't like it is because as of right now Rockstar has way too much going on in this game and it's causing a lot of problems, connection wise a lot of timing out the game lags really bad. I was kicked off several times in one day because of network issues ,and it wasn't on my end because I always check my connection and I'm running way above their minimal requirements. I've sent Rockstar tons of messages telling all that they need to stop adding updates that they need to either come out with another game or they need to get more servers to handle all the traffic and updates that are our existing with this game..

Try getting a Mamba up Chiliad in the snow. That's a challenge, but it's doable if you can figure it out.

I wonder why people keep saying that Mamba is challenging in this game. Damn, try playing Dirt Rally 2.0 on the controller with Lancia 037 at Col de Turini. That's challenging.

I think the Mamba is a fun car to drive in the snow but not a difficult one. The only thing that makes it a challenge to get up the mountain is when you hit the steep section of the trail because of the Mamba's diminished traction. I agree that there really aren't any difficult cars to drive in GTA though. Like you said, play a racing simulator and you'll see how difficult a car can be to drive.

I was just browsing mamba appreciation thread and it looks like people really find it hard. You've sold me on the Chiliad thing, I'll try that right now before I'll go to sleep.
