My Christmas fun with randoms in GTA Online

I am absolutely loving the snow and the Christmas-themed clothing. It was the perfect way for Rockstar to liven up GTA with the spirit of winter. I went into a few sessions last night in search of one worth staying in and I found it in no time.

 

 

I was in Passive Mode running head-on into traffic wearing that ridiculous snowman mask. It was hilarious watching my character being thrown around the snowy roads with that stupid snowman head, I didn't care that I was dying and I actually encouraged other players to come and hit me.

 

The snow made it hard for people to drive properly and therefore I had a great deal of fun dodging bad drivers and jumping onto their cars as they swerve to try to hit me. I didn't kill a single person but I must have died between ten and twenty times. I didn't care, I was having fun. Right now is not a time to be taking a game seriously, it's a time to come together and enjoy ourselves.

 

 

I bumped into three great guys last night. I wasn't using my mic. but it wasn't necessary anyway. The first guy was wearing the full Santa outfit and I found him outside Ponsonby's having a war against the police with a minigun. He soon followed me after he realised that I was running around having a laugh rather than hunting people down.

 

The second and third guys were aimlessly driving around. They were blown up by a tank so they entered Passive Mode with me and Santa. We walked around, irritated the police, jumped over fences, dodged traffic, then we found one of those Pisswasser vans. Two guys got in, me and another guy got on the roof. It's almost impossible to fall off the roof of that thing no matter how fast it goes, it's true car surfing.

 

 

We moved on to a fire truck. Two guys can stand on the back and hang off like you can with those FIB SUVs. We drove to the airport and lifted the truck into the sky with a Cargobob, all the while a guy was hanging off the back of the truck as it ascended. It was brilliant, I was using the in-car view to see the sights through the passenger's window of the truck.

 

And then they left. I went to bed full of cheer. It was a wonderful night and it welcomed Christmas in perfectly. I don't know who these guys are or where they went afterwards but one of them sent me a friend request so I've made a new friend out of it. I hope tonight will be just as much fun!

And I am stuck on a vacation... hopefully it will remain until January 3rd so I get to test this snow and Christmas stuff.

When I first put the snowman mask on I lay in my bed laughing for five minutes straight because it was just inanely funny to me. I love these outfits and I hope they do more themes (Halloween, please).
