Rockstar cant ban a whole console becouse i cheated in their game.. they can only ban me from their game.. not me playing other games.. they are not sony.

 

And if someone got a console ban, you most likly did wrote some stupid messages to other people and they reported you.

They definitely have the right to contact Sony and request your console be looked into and possibly banned.

 

Companies did this with COD with MS, I'd expect Rockstar to do the same if pushed far enough against a wall.

It's against Sony's T&C to do anything similar to the hacking we're witnessing with GTAO. You already agreed to this when you signed up to PSN so they can do it. Obviously Rockstar can't ban you from PSN, but Sony have already done it for them before now and I'm sure they'll do it again.

Sony is more lenient on PS3 though, it takes a lot to get console banned unless you have a jailbroken system, in which case you should have a spoofer.

Now i mean a complete ban..that i cant make a new psn.. until a bought i new ps3 console.. sure they can contact sony and get my account banned.. but i can still play other games and make a new character to play gta again..

 

to clear this out.. i have just dns "hacked" once.. then i made another character to play legit with and im no more using that "hacked" character. And i got no warning of people here think so..

I was being serious at first while still trying to cause confusion, when you questioned it I decided to be as sarcastic as possible through text and actually sound more like I wasnt being serious, then when you linked that and demonstrated people can be banned for numerous things Ive done for about 8 years or w.e.. well I guess I was mistaken

 

I will however say, thats one more reason I wont be buying any more consoles, not getting these next gent crap boxes and paying inet fees on em just because sony admittedly is only charging because they can and not because its impossible to do it without fees.

if they hacked or modded the console yes it can be banned, If Rockstar reports them to Sony, Sony can ban them........I have not Read the Latest online agreement from Sony,......but all the prior ones had clauses that if you were found using the service in a way that was not intended, they had the right to terminate the service...which could translate to a console ban not an account ban
