Cheaters, Modders, in GTA Online... here we go again

I considered myself to be a fairly casual gamer, although I find it hard to casually game when other players are using various forms of explicit gameplay like certain mods and cheats, such as god-mode and so on. I really enjoy playing GTA Online w/ my friends, however over the past month I've noticed a dramatic increase in modders, and this may not be a significant issue now, but if this problem isn't addressed soon, things could easily get out of control - don't want things to be like GTA IV's multiplayer. Hopefully Rockstar can do something

 

Also: I don't want to come across as just complaining... but to be completely honest I feel that this is a damn fine community of gamers and as a community we should have access to a completely legitmate game... not a game where everything is ruined and abused by modders... just saying.

I can't say I hate having billions even though I know its wrong and those who are causing it should be banned simply because Rockstar nerfed every mission including races..Criminal records went from like 2000 if you won to like 250 bucks.

 

(I did report them but I sorta regret that because I've heard that even though you're innocent Rockstar still bans you for having the money..or so I've read from ppl on this forum)

 

God mode and RP hacking (rank 1000s popping up everywhere) is just too far.

The core of the problem is how easy Rockstar has made it for them to be used. No modded console or jailbreak is even required. Any kid can go through some other server and gain these cheats, which is something Rockstar needs to stop immediately.

 

I am not a person who hates glitchers, in fact, I prefer getting the grind out of the way so I can just play, but when something is going to destroy everything I love, I have to draw the line. The creators of these hacks are the troll scum of the internet, and the children who support them don't even belong in this community.

I HATE GTA 4 MP. I will do everything I can to save GTA Online from turning into it.

 

Rockstar created the game. We started to abuse glitch.

They start to fix the glitches. Players start to hack.

They should just stop allowing anyone to connect through a proxy server. This is very easy to detect and websites do it all the time to stop trolls.

 

And seriously, I think Sony and Microsoft don't give a sh*t anymore because they want us to update to their new console. This is not a tactic that makes me want to buy from them.

Actually GTAO being current gen only seems to insinuate they want some people to stay on the 360 and PS3 for at least a while longer.

 

On topic tho: I can't join a lobby without getting 900 mil thrown at me or a 9 billion negative bounty thrown on me which I feel terrible about cuz Its basically ruining someone elses game (cuz dey go negative and can't get any money or do anything..so they NEED hackers to get them out of it.) and I naturally don't want my game to be ruined so I run infront of randoms cars or try and give it back to the hacker.

That's not Mocrosoft or Sony's choice. It's Rockstar's since they make the game. If the console companies wanted it enough, they would pay a lot to have R* make it, but they won't pay. They rather just have the attitude... 'If you don't support us, then we won't support you'.

I feel bad about the rank up hack the most cuz I legit ranked up to 220 (13 day playtime fml) and now I see people go from rank 1 too 1000 in a day or two.

If anything, just ban these servers.

 

Rockstar should have their own servers with certificates doing the work anyways. This is bullsh*t.

 

And somehow, I have a feeling this is all related to the goddamn cloud. Using public domains to store sh*t because they're too f*cking cheap to pay for servers.

Last night I spectated a level 180 getting shot about 7-8 times in a row by a damn tank, and just flopped around like a ragdoll, never dying. (looked like he was having a "blast" lol /sarcasm)

 

Anyways, I was just about to report him, (which would have been the first time I reported anyone) when my game froze, for only like the 3rd time ever. So I just wrote down his GT and found it on SocialClub. But what dafuq do I do with it now? Report him to R* and bring attention to my own billion $ bank account that was GIVEN to me and get banned myself? *sigh*

 

Granted I'm no Computer hacker, and don't know the first thing about it. But I remember playing RTCW like 10 F***in years ago online on PC and for a span of almost 2 years playing every single day, we never had to worry about things like people in God mode or etc. Things like that seemed to be caught easily enough by the server/hosts which just had to check some of the values in your game files. I remember ONCE trying to use a "gamma" exploit for the f*** of it and getting kicked from the server instantly because it read my values being way outta wack!

 

Why is this so damn HARD to implement for console games? I remember trying GTA4 online just this year for the first time, and what a damn JOKE that was! I was like the ONLY guy online in the Northern hemisphere who could die FFS! lol

i still say 1 thing should of been implemented in development and that is cd keys are a industry standard in online gaming for a reason they can track critical and game breaking issues with them and makes it much easier to lock people out of servers

In a nutshell, gtao is ruined for the majority of players as far as public servers go. Me personally, I'll play on private boards only for now, and can just hope rock star can get a gripe on the non sense currently going on.

It's rubbish mate. There's a poll on the thread about the cheaters pool asking who has been put in there and atm, around 13% say yes and that's the highest I've seen it...it was always around 11%. Now prior to that thread and R* throwing people in CP, there was thread after thread of people asking for money from hackers and even dropping their PSN's out...it got absolutely stupid how much demand there was for hacked money, it felt like 50% of the people using the forum were asking and all we heard was how they weren't bothered...R* won't ban them all etc and how wonderful the hackers were. There was nobody saying they didn't want the money.

 

But suddenly, they all get thrown into CP and it's 'oh I didn't ask for the money' and how they're all innocent. If that many people really were just minding their own business and were given money against their will and were really innocent, that poll would be alot more like 50%. I remember that night and to start with it was 'yes I'm in CP and I don't care', then it changed to 'oh I recieved money I didn't ask for and was thrown into CP' and when that was dispelled it sudden;y became 'oh it's because I shared the money to get rid'. It's rubbish, maybe 1% of the people in CP shouldn't be there, the rest are liars....but then, with the ammount of liars and cheats on this forum alone, that shouldn't surprise anyone.

Sony too busy for PS4, the security checkup for PSN is currentlly loose and the PS3 jailbreaks console users can do what ever they want to appy modding and hacking etc that is why you can see amateur hackers with jailbreak PS3 console floating around all over the places............... Rockstar is really f*ck up !

 

Hence the creators of those PC tools which connect their PS3 jailbreak console and PC to do real time modding is very easy to obtain and even a 12 years old kid can do the hacking. I can see GTA Online in Current-Gen are going towards to Hacking- Zombie Los Santos.

last night on the xbox version of gta online i logged on planning on enjoying the snow and taking pics of it from various parts of san andreas, so i enjoy them later on, but i got gifted over $100 billion which i didn't notice until i left a lsc, then i quickly exited the game and reported it to rockstar supper (i listed the amount i was gifted and who it was from) and i asked them to remove it since i don't want to get banned) them when i mentioed it later last night on this forum i got called all sorts of names!!

It's going to be worse than gta 4.

Way more copies sold of gta 5, than gta 4.

Gta 4 required a bit of work to mod.

Gta 5 is easy as sin to mod and get godmode and level 1000.

There are more reasons so mod gta 5, like for cash(worthless in Gta 4), to give cash, God mode, unlocking dlcs forever... And probably a couple others.

 

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

Once all the retards get over their modded cash and levels they will cease to have a point to play the game.

 

Its all about Free Roam griefing and trolling.. Which now hits its newest low, GOD MODE.

 

When you cheated everything the only think left is to fully break the game with god mode... Next will be deleting players garages, cash and RP just for the lulz.

Server Check All Your Game FIles , After You Connect To Multiplayer .

If It's Not Connected With Rockstar Servers Then You Can't Play Online .
