It's only a matter of placement, I did a few shots last hour. Yes it's harder to see from very far, but it's still alright at a respectable distance.

 

You can't shoot what you can't see. Works for you too, good luck firing at a sniper wearing full white clothes on a roof just far enough so you can't see him / her anymore, while we still can see your ass moving around.

 

Snipers will be a little closer, nothing more.

The only thing that would save a tanker from me is the lag (teleporting tank..), I can deal with any weather or any maneuver you could do, including hiding under something.
