I don´t use Rage Italic for the VC/VCS Logo styled texts. It´s an old, quite low quality font anyway.

Scaling it big, You can see that it has a jaggy edge it´s designed that way, unlike the Logo which has smooth round shapes.

I have been using Brush Script, but there probably exists a better script substitute closer to original.

 

edit: this looks better in my opinion, but I leave the Brush Scripts too.
