Is GTA Online where all the noobs with no GTA Experience is?

Well, I can gladly say that I have played GTA since I was 5 and I love the series.. Well, unfourtonently alot of noobs with no experience with the GTA Series has been introduced lately to GTA Online.. Guys who are 9 years old not even knowing what GTA Vice City is. Kinda bugs me, please leave me your opinion on this..

I not what you mean bro but i dont think all of them are,infact i started with the 3rd Generation of the Series(Hd Era) with GTA 4 and now GTA 5,as a Legendary and Old Franchise,GTA would definitely expanded alot in terms of fanbase especially now that the Series would soon move into it 4th Generation

Seems like it, but I love GTA Online and my first GTA experience was San Andreas. I know how you feel, most of those little bastards probably haven't touched single player. Well, they're missing out but at least we got to experience the best of the GTA series.

Unfortunately this is 100% true. It wouldn't surprise me if over 90% of the GTA fan base today is still in middle school. Which means they have no concept of what a good game GTA used to be before R* tried to transform it into the online gaming world. IMO this is unfortunately reflected in the posts that I see on here polling which GTA title is the best of the franchise to date.

 

The younger fanboys (who at least played GTA IV), will likely base their opinion on superficial factors aka how much eye candy the game graphics have, how fast the cars are, how much SR4 god mode powers you can have during the game, how fast/easy it is to make money, level up etc etc. If their first online game was CoD, then GTAO must seem like the next greatest thing since Wonder Bread was invented. Basically an open world fps with few rules or penalties for being a social moron, or a hacker/cheater.

 

And since they're recent noobs to the GTA universe-- with that kind of superficial, instantaneous gratification gaming mindset--they'll never understand what game play mechanics have made the franchise the best action sandbox game to date. a.k.a. VC, SA and GTA III. These will always be unparalled in the gaming industry IMO.

 

Especially SA, which has yet to be exceeded by any game on the market to date in the amount of sandbox, rpg, hidden content, and immersion gaming features it offered.

 

And yes, any game on the market today also includes GTA V.

The OP is the most annoying person. The OP is like that person who comments on a youtube music video that is really popular by an unknown band or singer and writes something like this....... "All of you people only like this band because of this one song, I've been a fan for 5 years"..... as if they are better than everyone else.

yeah OP I see what you're saying, but in that same regard, you said it the wrong way and sound like a total douche. the way you sound, its like you expect every new generation of gamer to go back and play the originals first. that's such a stupid thing to say I wont even elaborate.

 

by your definition of "noob", you're saying that all the Battlefield 3 and 4 players would be noobs, since theres probably a majority that didn't play 1942? and the only redemption is to go back and play?

 

remember a lot of gamers don't own a PC or older gen console or don't have the knowledge to run older games (DosBOX, Virutal Machines, emulators etc). so these "new" gamers who were introduced into GTA via GTA 5 or maybe even GTA 4, are forever "noob" because they weren't born earlier? f*ck off.

 

don't be a fkn retard man. we (us older gamers) were lucky enough to be born into a generation where all this kind of stuff was just happening. i remember when playing the original GTA, my mates family got a new super video card, it had 2MB of video memory, which was insane. you could run GTA in 24-bit mode. my god, all those colours! haha. but to say that because someone was born 10 years later than that and missed those days is just a noob with no experience? you're embarrassing yourself and the generation of older gamers by talking like that.

Played since 97 when it first cam out for playstation and pc.. New all cheat codes by the time I was 9. Doesn't matter tho.. I actually don't mind the kids playing.. It would be better if they didn't have mics.
