For me I would say yes. I think it will be fun.

 

EDIT: Of course the ones that will use the sniper rifle are the ones at the rear or in other words, the 2 passengers at the back of the helicopter.

Oh and also, some are good at using the sniper rifle so if you're not then feel free to use other guns!

I would like us to be able to shoot RPGs from the helicopter. NPCs have done it in IV and V.

Yes, that way we can get rid of the annoying asses who hide on top of the bank with a tank and a bounty on their head. I can pull off sniping a tank driver in a helicopter from quite a distance away. Heli sniping might become my new past time honestly.

I would love to, I wish there was also a first person view while in the passenger seats of the heli and while shooting in it

RPG yeah but minigun would be overpowered.Plus hot do you stay in if both hands are on the minigun

I was shocked when I discovered I couldn't use the sniper in a chopper. SP had a mission with chopper sniping... and infrared night vision! Where the $&@! is the infrared?!

its pretty evident why someone would feel the need to snipe from a heli.

 

because they cannot aim anything else with it, and have no friends to aim for them.

Aren't we talking about the rear passengers? They already have access to larger guns such as MGs and assault rifles.. why not sniper rifles? Or RPGs, stickies, miniguns, etc... it's about freedom.

I think sniping would be great but only if your sat in the side not in the front I also think that anialators should have mounted Mini guns on both sides with passengers can fire that would be awesome

Tanks would be so boned, fly high enough that they can't shoot you down and just spawn trap the tanker, shoot him out of it first off then fly over his spawn points. lol

No, To snipe from a heli, You would need more skill than on a still building/overlook

I think we should be able to do whatever the NPCs do from their helis.

 

As long as you got a couple guys in the back of your buzzard they should be able to shoot whatever weapons they have out the back. The pilot should only have rockets and machine gun though.

I believe the OP meant for side passengers to be able to snipe. Not the pilot or the guy who is able to use the camera. I do agree that piloting and using the sniper rifle would be ridiculous.

Agreed. I'd also like the military Jeep to have a mounted combat MG in the back.

Yes, at least while on jobs. There was one particular job I recall where my friend and I had to storm the roof of a building. There was too much heat to land the heli so I figured I could just snipe them off -- nope. Had to try and pick them off with an assault rifle while keeping a good enough distance from the AI as to not get killed by their over powered auto lock on.

Using all our weapons would be fun. Seems practical, unlike a car I could understand why a rocket and stuff is restricted
