Can hackers freeze my xbox

I was just in a game with lvl 1000 so I asked him if he can hook me up with sum money then my xbox froze. Once the tow trucked was patched my xbox stopped freezing but now its freezing again. Last night I was playing and someone set a 2b bounty on me then my then my xbox froze twice within 20 mins (my screen turned into vertical gray stripes wtf) this sux
