I don't really mind the glitches & hacks unless people spam with tanks or have godmode. I'd like to see them concentrate on more features. Hopefully the heists won't turn out to be garbage which I suspect they will be.

Biased poll is biased. Not everyone wants a reset, OR CnC.

 

There wasn't an option for a 'reset' in the poll. It is a question of whether or not you want R* to prioritise creating CnC instead of patching money exploits etc?

I can't vote. Its a tie for me. Cops n Crooks was hands down the best thing about GTA IV, but a glitch and hack free GTAO sounds beautiful. If all the glitchers and cheaters had their money removed, pegasus vehicles removed, and everything else they didn't deserve removed I would be so happy. Then again its cops n f*cking crooks. Such a hard decision. I would vote cops n crooks if all the low life cheaters/hackers/glitchers didn't have money to piss away on ammo and merryweather. Also if they couldn't use the tank and buzzard they didn't earn. Oh and of course the RP noobs with their weapons they didn't earn. Then cops n crooks would be fun. I can't give priority to a glitch and hack free GTAO though over cops n crooks because I've made it this far sh*tting down all the low life cheating scums throats so I would continue to turn out the ingrates. Then again if they took away everything they didn't earn I would be a titan in GTAO as I've made it to lvl 122 with everything you could need without ever cheating/hacking/glitching/receiving any hacked money/receiving hand outs. Meh. I'm done rambling.

As far as I can see, even if all the glitches etc were sorted out, there is still f*ck all to do in free roam, or at least there is only comparatively as much to do in V fr as the was in IV fr.So imo, f*ck glitches and the whole concept of needing money and RP for everything, just bring back some decent game modes that don't require you to have the things I just mentioned.

 

All people ever do is complain about the way people play in fr. The only reason people are nasty and unkind in fr is becasue there is nothing to f*cking do. This game has only:

 

Free roam

Death match (including survival)

Races

Mafia Work (ie missions)

Would you prefer that these jobs all occur with other people in free roam? The game would be even worse as you would have idiots parking cars in the middle of a race, or sitting at the finish line with a tank.

I have no objection to fr being a place where you can start missions etc, although I don't think it works that well tbh. But the point I'm making is that if fr is all it can be, which it is (apart from the glitching problems), then all it can be is not enough on its own. We need more to do! Why did IV have about a dozen different things to do but we have got even less on V?

Both...and what they really need to do is get rid of having 3 aim types. This splits up the player base horribly and there's no reason for auto aim of any sort. Auto aim isn't in the biggest online games, and there's a reason. It's sucks. Rockstar needs to get rid of auto aim and traditional gta aim. And they need to get rid of free roam pvp. It needs to be a co-op world with much more to do in it, like dynamic events. There are plenty of pvp missions for the people that want to kill each other. They could even add a deathmatch mode called free roam where you would have the whole city to roam and kill with vehicles and tanks and choppers and guns.

 

These are things that need to happen if they ever want GTA online to be as popular as some of the other online console games. Auto aim is a big reason why this game never takes off online. The pvp free roam kills it too....it kills the lobbies for deathmatches/races/capture/survival/......and most importantly the free roam pvp is why the content creator will never take off..it could save this game if people could actually get their maps played and had the ability to put their creations into a queue that would group it with other players creations.

 

No more killing in free roam is what HAS to happen. The free roam has to be a place that brings people together. Like dynamic events that bring together all 16 people in the session. Anyone that has played Defiance knows what I'm talking about when I say dynamic events that bring people together.

As nice as that would be, people will still find a way to kill each other. They will run each other over, park on top of each other etc..... just to be a griefer.

 

A better solution might be to have people "agree to a duel" so to speak, much like the current PVP deathmatch. If you attack, run over etc... somebody that has not agreed to a duel then the aggressor is the one that receives the damage (think team kills in COD). To take it further, if you display a weapon you are considered an aggressor for X amount of time. For example, I'm robbing a liquor store and you walk in. You can choose to ignore me and have nothing happen to you. Help me and get a cut, or put a cap in my ass and get a reward from the store owner (and maybe 5 minutes immunity from the cops)
