Pistol lovers?

Was just wondering if it's unusual to almost always use the pistol while playing free mode.

 

I mean, one-shotting a rifle-using player after rolling with a stock LCPD pistol is one of the most satisfying things to me. Obviously the range isn't a good, but it makes the game more fun by only making you rush, get up close, and go for those quick headshots.

 

I've never really seen anyone else use the pistol, surely there's got to be someone else?

You're not the only one, I usually try to use weapons that would be realistic to be armed with in a random situation, and for rifle gunners I still have the AP-Pistol for absolute destruction within range. I mostly use pistols on NPCs though.

The AP pistol is my peasant killing weapon of choice. Such a beast weapon.

Yeah, I get you. I like using the standard pistol because of the realism in that you can have it while climbing, doing player actions, in a car, etc.

 

I'm kinda the opposite - I mostly use pistols against players, but when it's just against NPCs when it doesn't really matter, I sometimes just switch to the advanced rifle or something.

But tbh, the 50. cal Deagle is my favorite of the bunch, I have killed several players with rifles or any other gun aiming at me or just standing beyond 50 yards picking them off just fine by headshots or 3-4 body hits. Just happens to be available and doing very fine when I leave my car and aim for distance.

ive got all pistols but dont use them often, theyve all got extended clips except for the combat pistol which has a supressor, the others dont have supressors, i used the combat pistol for store hold

I love the first pistol you recieve, the standard one. I just reached level 100 and still use it in missions and free roam because it looks badass and I've watched Pulp Fiction too many times. But i'm searching for the Desert Eagle among CE players I come across. any one here on XBOX feeling the Christmas spirit? (:

I still use the combat pistol for stealth kills; pinpoint accurate. The SNS and the AP for shooting it up.

I'd use the Desert Eagle 2/3 of the time if I had access to it, I hear it's a 2-shot kill.

Standard pistol all the way but I do love my trusty sniper rifle! Nothing like popping some heads!

I love the AP pistol for close range. It shoots faster then most assault rifles so you can get that first few shots you need to take them down.

I like using the Combat pistol or the AP pistol.

 

 

But I prefer the AK (Assault rifle)

.50 pistol all the way! Did a test with a friend. One shot to the chest, more than half of the persons health is gone. Take note he is level 120ish so his health is at max. But I do love using the 9mm. It just feels more real to pull a 9mm out on someone than a carbine or ak.
