Public Free Roam is a disaster.

Very broken play invite only. All you will find in public is tanks tanks and more tanks, god mode and people at level 150-500 who don't even have driving skill maxed as they used a cheat to level up. Rockstar should turn it off and fix it but they probably can't since they hire Burger King cashiers to program.

i quit playing shortly after patch 1.06 was launched because quite frankly, i got tired of all the problems that occured with each new patch c*ckstar launched.

Most modders are people on the dole, with like 6 kids, but yeah i agree with your points.

I hate to say it but it's pretty much broken at this point. Every lobby this morning I was in had someone in "Terminator" mode or doing ridiculous bounties.

I stay in my own sessions, and stick to playing with friends unfortunately. If the permavirgins must have their hacks and mods let 'em, there is always a way to avoid them. Which is why it pains me to see players blaming each other for the mess that public servers are, when the people in charge blew it from the start. Kind of sounds like every problem we have in America, stupid people pointing the finger at each other while the gov. pisses on us and claims it's raining...

On the other side of the hyperbole border, I have had no issues whatsoever. The only 'wrong' thing I encountered was some guy had a $10m bounty set on them. Literally everything else has worked fine, no hackers or modders or people screaming down the mic as people apparently find every single lobby.

 

Mind you, people say CoD has squeakers in every game - I've encountered 3 in all my time of playing. Jesus, you people.

Being gifted millions is a marmite thing you love it or hate it.

I had no problems till yesterday when i was sent 28mil by a hacker,why not ask first.

I've been reduced to closed crew sessions only until rockstar can hopefully patch the God mode hacks. If not then i'm pretty much done playing on the open servers

Yeah. Pretty broken. But I have a slightly different point of view on this, though. I think, in a way, this could be a good thing. If my interpretation of R*'s over all plan for GTAO isn't totally off base, this will force them to fix things sooner rather than later. This game is quickly heading toward being a game few people will want to play. R* wants this game to be long lasting, for years (and one can only assume eventually ported over and expanded on to the new systems). This won't work well if things continue in the direction they are currently headed. The game (and R* itself) will become a laughing stock.

You might think R* such a big name (GTA as well) that they are impervious to that. I would say your wrong. It doesn't take all that much for even true fans to turn on you. It can happen. R* made a lot of $$ on GTA 5 based in large part to their reputation and that of GTA itself. Right now that reputation is teetering. I think that alone will force some attention and action out of R*; which, in the end, could be good for the game.

It is broken. I just came across 5 people with god mode in the same session

 

sh*t needs to change or everyone in the game's going to be on god mode (with billions of cash and more tanks at hand than the American government)

cant find any missions to play or people to play with. been sat in an empty city or empty lobby. LTS and raids show up instead too. sucks
