The game is actually more fun when everyone is rich!?

I believe it is. Because I don't see many PVPs anymore. Yesterday, I found these guys who were actually fun to play with. We had almost half the lobby doing donuts around cop cars. So much fun.

And there's always been full of tanks, adders and other super cars in freemode. Things aren't any different apart from a few extra green digits on the top right of the screen.

I think more people are happy than sad. It's just so many people like to vent on this forum. Usually the ones who are enjoying themselves are the ones who actually have an imagination and don't get bored.

The thing about people going "now I have nothing to play for!" that I don't get is that there's still RP. I still have to play to unlock new guns and clothing and car upgrades, so that's still there, it's just that now I don't have to worry when I see a tank, and now I get to have all the fun vehicles I'd been waiting for.

You are right, why would I want to work to acquire and maintain when I play games? Am I so trained from real life that this is the mentality that carries over into my play time?

 

I grinded for everything, until I had everything I wanted.Then I lobby hopped, stalked and shot at level 400s and 600s for like 15 minutes before I found my GTA christmas daddy

 

I was discussing recipes in a back alley with a street worker in my PV when I was gifted 100 mil. Then he put a billion dollar bounty on me and blew us up while she was looking for something she dropped in my lap

I made the mistake of getting into a little battle with one. I retreated quickly when i realised he had Godmode. Anyway, it turns out he was one of the guys giving out cash to players in the lobby. I know this as he sent me a sh*tty message saying for trying to kill him (and have him mugged hahahaha), i wasn't getting any money from him.

Obviously, i was disappointed that i couldn't add to the 1.5 billion i've been given by randoms lol

So in GTA V R* tried to made that happen.

 

Problem is everyone is retarded. They keep sayings its not fun to have to earn anything. But the reality is, GTA in a nutshell is about starting off broke and rising to the top. Almost every GTA holds true to that. Except GTA 4 multiplayer.

 

GTA 4 online was a simple concept that R* tried to make happen. GTA 4 is so basic in its online its very laughable that people keep bringing it up, as it was better then GTA V online.

 

 

 

Thanks to the only OTHER GTA online game... GTA 4. Everyone thinks GTA O is about trolling free roam and nothing else.. And honestly, if all you did was slaughter sh*t in GTA story modes you probably are totally missing the point of what GTA is really all about.

I'm not sure which side of the fence you sit on with that? Either way, simplicity is usually more fun, look at Tetris or Space Invaders, we can all get enjoyment out of those.

 

As for V, there is f*ck all else to do but Free Roam. Seriously, just how f*cking hard would it be for R* to implement Cops 'n Crooks or Turf War?

PvP is still everywhere. I was crushing this guy's Futo playfully with my Sandking while he was getting a haircut. He came outside and I continued to burnout, unleashing lots of red smoke from my Santa-colored Sandking and he blew me up, resorting to me having to spawn-kill him 3 times with the heavy sniper.

 

No one has a sense of humor. I miss how people acted in GTAIV.
