Yeah I know I read that lol. But that could also mean that it's available until the 5th and that everyone that obtained it before then got to keep it and can change into it anytime in their apartments.

No, they will just remove it when January 5th hits. It's made to fit the Christmas holiday theme and R* taking it away on the 5th is just giving us some time to enjoy it. No one would want to see the Christmas masks, nor, would it make sense playing the game in July, as an example, and seeing someone running around in a Santa mask.

Also once you buy them they should just stop selling them at jan 5th. If yo got them you keep them. If you don't you gotta wait until next year and buy them! Lots of games work like this where things are available at certain times.

 

If you get something you got it! If not you wait till Its available. That makes it cool and something to look forward to or buy.

 

Just cause you have a Santa hat doesn't mean you wear it all year round unless your special needs! But it is ours and you could wear it whenever you like!

 

They want real money so fuking sell a little holiday gear pack for five or ten bucks and all the legit people could buy it and all the hackers and glitches could give them to everyone for free, sigh...

Eventually people would get bored of it and stop wearing it after a month or 2, so I wouldn't see why it would be so hard to keep it (for those that got Online before January 5th). But oh well.
