Buzzard? Gta online HELP

Hi, i just exceeded level 42, and was wondering if the buzzard is worth the 1.7m. If i purchase it, i will have insufficient funds that remain in my bank. I have multiple questions that might waver my decision:

 

1) does the buzzard still lock-on to cops?

2) how does the rocket control work? Is it easy to maneuver your crossfire to the location you want it to fire at?

3) does it lock on to playerz?

4) do you get "bad sport" for destroying a persona car in the buzzard?

5) if it does lock on to cops, is it still easy to shoot down another player? Is there an option to change this?

 

My main concern is the rockets, and the probability/difficulty of you successfully shooting down another play while there are cops around. Thanks

My opinion: It's worth every penny...

 

1) Yes

2) It uses lock on, it is easy to maneuver the actual plane is a bit wobbly but it's still fine to pilot.

3) It only locks onto players that are in a plane/helicopter. Doesn't lock onto players on the ground

4) Yes

5) You can not lock onto players, it's easy to maneuver from cops to cop. As there's a lockon target system

Only good for missions IMO. But if it locked on players like it does on cops then the buzzard would be awesome!! Worth every penny even if I use it just for missions

1) yes

2) no it is not easy. but as long as you get proficient at keeping the helicopter itself balanced, the targeting reticle will stay balanced as well. it takes practice.

3) no, and this is good because the buzzard would be overpowered if it did.

4) yes, but it is much more difficult since the 1.06 patch.

5) there is no option to change this. you just have to move the helicopter away from the line of sight of the cops, and the reticle will follow.

 

i would suggest practicing with the buzzards that spawn for free before investing that much money into buying one. just fly over to the merryweather helipad on the southeast corner of the map and either a buzzard or a cargobob will spawn every time. if it is the latter, fly back around until the buzzard spawns.

Buzzard is worth every penny. Rockets are for noobs though. Learn to fly and kill with the minuguns first. I suggest learning them on gta iv first then moving to v. Find a light pole at the airport and practice circling it and shooting in one spot. You'll be lethal with rockets after that lock on or not.

Just stay well clear of the Annihilator. Only get a buzzard if you're happy with your garage/appartment etc.

There's alot of people who don't know how to shoot from the buzzard with the rockets. If you play Battlefield then you'll be good with it. But the majority don't know how to shoot it so it would be a useless helicopter since there are other helis that have better handling/speed/

 

Unless you have a freind, who can be a passenger then the buzzard will be fun. It's a good two man heli because passenger gets to shoot rockets also.

Yes it is worth getting now it hardly ever spawns. Before I'd have said no way since you're 100% guaranteed one at sandy shores.
