before the release of gta online did you expect it to be like this with the tanks/modders and what did you think gta online would be like from all the hype from R*

I expected so much more. I thought it would be helicopters, friends, robbing banks and a whole lot of other sh*t. It's one big disappointment thanks to you mother f*ckers that can't stop modding. If rockstar wasn't constantly fixing glitches, they would have more time to work on new features.

But i didnt think tanks would be as unfitting in online as they turned out to be.

And racing is amazing, I won't need nfs, gran turismo or forza with this game.

I thought it would be Semi-RPG like with businesses you could buy for income and missions that paid out more as you progressed through a story. Heists where you could plan bank and jewellery store robberies and make off with a few 100k per team member, but they would be difficult to pull off. Having the ability to customize nearly every vehicle and by customize I don't mean a respray, tint, and rims. Being able to buy a hangar, garage, and an actual house. I was hoping to be able to have a safehouse in LS and another in Blaine Co. where I could store my off-road vehicles and Sandking XL.

 

Because of they way R* did the businesses in SP I thought they would for sure be in MP, since it takes a lot of play time to break even. It makes no sense for SP, but it would actually be a good way of adding businesses in MP. I also thought that there would be missions for the businesses to increase their income like in San Andreas and I don't mean picking up people in cabs and doing liquor runs.

 

The businesses were a big let down for me. Also most of the online mission are the same two things over and over. "Kill this guy," or "Go get me this thing," which sucks. I hardly ever do them. That and not being able to have a safehouse with a garage in LS and in Blaine Co.

I thought it would be awesome, and I'm not disappointed. There's been a lot of stuff I didn't expect but it has neither spoilt or improved my experience. I look forward to heists though. Can't wait till they get added.

I felt somewhat that the game would become modded and glitched into the ground, but I never felt that it would be so soon after its release.
