Is there anything special I need to do to get the snow?

I haven't been online in a good 2 weeks as I just got a Wii U and saw that there is an Xmas pack that includes snow. Is there anything special I have to do to access it or is it just a free download?

How am I being impatient? All I was asking is if there is anything special I need to do to play through a snow filled LS since it will give me an incentive to go back to the game for a day or two.

Just wondering if it is snowing yet? I am debating whether I should spent the day playing this or just start Wind Waker HD.

It isn't, but to get the same effect put your Wii U in a blender 20 times and sprinkle the snow over your TV.

 

At the moment, it's the only good thing the Wii U has going for it.

BTW, the Wii U is awesome. I just bought it last week and Mario 3D World is one of the best games of the year and the best Mario game since the SNES.

The snow WAS there. The snow isn't there anymore, well, for me. The snow just came automatic. I came on one day and it was there. Then yesterday, I came online in the morning and it mysteriously disappeared.

Some really helpful answers here, definitely.

 

Unfortunately, the snow was only available for the 24th and 25th. it wasn't very impressive. Come back in a year and check it then?

Signatures are dumb anyway.
