Solution to the money hacks

Rockstar could do three very simple things that would solve all of this millions and billions issue.

 

1) add a feature that when someone sends you a gift or shares money from a mission you are given an "accept" and "regect" option. Done.

 

2) add a fake website on our ingame internet for donations to Rockstar. Any money you didnt ask for or dont want...donate it back to the victim of the theft. Done.

 

3) gifting legitimately has been disabled...automatically detect anyone using the gift option and anyone who shares previous job at an amount higher than double the largest in game payout and send them to cheaters pool. Done.

 

Problem solved.

 

Oh and merge all the "I recieved, i want, and what do i do with" threads into one and stick it.

None of that is the solutions to the hacks. In my opinion they need to fix it downright to the source and make it so people can't hack by hosting their tunables in a secured server instead of locally on the disc.

 

After that they can go ahead and create an option to delete cash that you no longer want via the Social Club or in-game.

2.) saw that on R* support, give credit?

3.) Ok but cheaters pool is bypassed and bugged lol

Pretty much that exact thing has been suggested on here before, several times, as well as on other forums.

 

Oh and merge all these "suggestion" threads into one and delete.

Why don't they just make it impossible to receive a sum of money above x amount?

Uh i honestly thought that one up on my own...i got theidea for the accept button from another thread...if someone said the web thing already i missed it, props to them.

 

If 90% hit accept thats cool...they wanted it. They just need to keep it to themselves.

 

As for the bypassing cheaters...i dont know...i guess ban them after so many offenses maybe?

It means something to those who stayed away from the money though. Also the Website thing is not a bad idea. I'd like to start my character over and give the money all away. I was a modder once but things are going to far lol.

If you personally want to get rid of it, maybe find a player who's at least level 50 and have them send a mugger after you? If you take out all your unwanted cash, that *should* work.

I dont see the donation website going down to well, R* isn't going to have a section of there game dedicated to hackers like that. Maybe just me but I dont think it would look very professional.

It's probably the only good thing on the thread in my opinion, but it wouldn't stop people from hacking. As for heists, you're right it does matter to those that are legitimate, at the same time though their game experience can be ruined at any moment by receiving 'shared cash'. And then boom, there goes their game.

Yep $2K is the most they'll take. There's no way to be substantially robbed, despite the warnings telling you to bank your cash because you have over $5K on you (which I've not seen for a while, thinking about it).

Would not be ruined if you could regect it.

 

The website would not be for the hackers...it would be for the legit good samaritans that return stolen money...maybe even an achievement for good samaritan.
