I'm not saying that you did bad by sending a ticket to rockstar, that's actually a safer way, still it wasn't necessary. If I get banned FOR NOT HAVING THE OPTION TO REFUSE MONEY and the bullsh*t that says I shared 2 billion in a mission (how is that possible??!!!) well if I get banned then it's PS4 time for me. Not waiting 8 months to play or whatever it is. Now if I did stuff on purpose then if accept the ban but the reality is that I accrued my first Million legitimately and bought a Cabrio 9F and had just built my cash back to a million and was working on reaching rank 80 so I could get my Cabrio half price 80% armor but while building my RP in DM, races and missions to get there, someone dropped millions on me and I spent them because I said, hey I worked hard to reach that million dollar mark twice, I earned my Grim reaper smoking gun tattoo, my blonde racing girl tattoo and my Wages of Sin tattoo. Had Rockstar made an announcement that anyone "depositing" hacked money into their account could face bans then maybe I wouldn't have deposited it. How does one not spend it and only spend their banked money? That's almost impossible to do so banning us for spending it is absolutely not the right move. At this point all they can do is fix it so the new wave of players who just got the game for XMas can refuse the free money or get banned if they do. Now when you consider the high percentage of forum posters reporting gifted-cash...you know that the overall number has to be gargantuan. I don't know how R* can handle this mess without angering a ton of fair-minded players. If those players are like me and have pretty much done everything they've wanted to do at this relatively late stage of this GTA game's life...they're not going to be hanging around long if R* starts F'ing with them over something they had no control over. In my mind the only way they can make this right is by taking away the gifted money without also taking away the ligit millions that I already had, if they can't effectively do that I don't want them messing with my cash AT ALL. The problem is that since they obviously never expected this to happen, I'm not at all confident that they had steps built in to distinguish ligit cash from gifted cash. I've used it to buy and mod several supercars. First installment was a few weeks ago. Just don't draw attention to yourself and you'll be fine. R* actually said if you 'didnt wilfully cheat' you've nothing to worry about. Don't tell me to dump it into my 2nd character an delete it since I have some progress in it. My first character got the 63 mil. Just tell me if it would get me banned or not. Because if doesn't, I might spend a tiny portion of it. I already did the money glitch with my first character (such idea, very stupid) so he's not 100% legit anyway. sooo ban. Bodog999 Posted December 26, 2013 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Atm i have 5.5 bil from 2 bountys. you wont get banned when you claim a bounty it is there it happend only thing you can do is claim or go the choice is yours. and got about 3-5 X 63 mil that is 189000000 to 315000000 mil and i only spend 18 mil for cars guns property tanks planes and helicopters. Hackers use modded lobbies to get cash and give it to people with the share cash from last job option. So dont worry you cant help that you got 63 mil gave to you. Yeah, I doubt R* would actually put everyone in that pool because 95% of the gamers got gifted money. That leaves a 5% of players in legit lobbies.
