Can I put a custom license plate on a 2nd character?

Is there some trick to this or can you just have one custom plate on your 1st character?

I've gone to the iFruit app and when I go into the plate section all that comes up is my one plate.

Any how-to's would be appreciated.

Take a vehicle from your second character into LSC. While in lsc order a different color plate for that vehicle through the LSC section in the i fruit app with youre custom text on the plate. Hit order and confirm and all that stuff. Leave LSC with your car and shortly u will recieve a message saying your plate is ready. Drive back in and equip your new plate. Now it will be avaliable at LSC for all your 2nd character vehicles

If your question is actually... 'Does the second character get a different plate', the answer is no. They get the only plate attached to your account.
